I sent protectors, the king of hell ground pounds, the protectors die, the king of hell does nothin. Ground units (melee) make the king of hell ground pound, the big oversized units prevent ground pounds (groundpounds also damage your castle). DON'T USE LAND (MELEE) UNITS.

So anyone on Lord of Hell's level...a little tip...DON'T SEND LAND UNITS.I reccomend using forest guardin...angel knight...and red dragon...but make sure u have more red dragons and forest guardians then angel knight...angel knight is to keep other monsters away but it's attacks heal LoH.

I discovered when Lord of Hell ground pounds...after beating him 3 times on the 4th time i used flame devil...he would ground pound...flame devil dies...he stops...send another unit tht travels on land...he ground pounds...he ground pounds whenever u send a ground unit to hurt him.

oh yah and you will encounter even stronger spams of strong waves later on such as 20 protectors, 30 beast riders, a red dragon, demons, and BLACK DRAGONS THAT SHOOT PURPLE BLAST OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS LIKE THE END IN EPIC WAR 1 WITH 12000 HP WHICH I HATE BECAUSE THEY COME WITH RED DRAGONS AND SPAMS.

i agree with quelmotza because they always have their strongest unit as backup so you should always max out your stats before you start attacking on levels with SPAMmed strong units such as protectors and beast riders.
P.S. i usually call these groups councils

if your having trouble with passing a level because they spam units make sure you send out alot of long range weapons like catapults

Can't beat chapter 7/8, using humans...whenever you get their base down to 4500-5000, they will SPAM protectors and archers and catapults and phantom archers and annihilate anything you send out...-.-
