I think that really the new upgrading system puts a little more strategy in the game when to use and and not when to use it...... And yea please give back mana regen its only so annoying using 0 for autofire and killing mobs for mana

I feel that when you pay the experience bonus and then the mana bonus for an upgrade, you shouldn't have to pay it every single level... And there should be a way to increase mana gaining speed, so that if you upgrade max mana bonus, you can also recharge a little faster...

much like epic war 1, gameplay is slow, not very interesting, and somehow i feel compelled to finish it. I guess everything BUT the gameplay is fantastic.

Guys the best reason i would be able to think of that you had to upgrade during battle is that you dont like send 1 titian or something else that can kill very easyly in the beginning of the battle.

Stuck on Level 6 for hours now, giving up. Not worth a "Medium" badge. Makes me wonder how difficult it was to get "Hard" badges LOL...

Wow, it gets really annoying. I have units attacking the castle, and the enemy gets a barrage of invulnerable archers to snipe at them till they're dead. >_>

Beat Epic War 2 just now, woohoo! Easiest way to beat it, spam titans and angels for gg ez mode. Hobbits waste 10 more mana that could be used for better things. :P

To those people who complain about the mass army spam: When using Humans, have a line of mages/paladins (Some Clerics can also be used, but the archer units suck terribly), while beating them back with your Specials. Elves, use Protectors with Dryads and Phantoms. As for Orcs... This'll be awesome. =P For Orcs, just use totems, and keep spamming out Hobbits so that their army stops moving, preoccupied with Hobbits, while you let your totems spam. Done, and done. Oh, and don't use Orc Archers. If you REALLY want ranged physical, go with Troll or Cannon/Trebuchet.

Increasing rating from 2/5 to 4/5. Still some minor issues, but you've fixed some of the crippling bugs the game had. Still annoyed with the final level though, spawning waves of 40+ enemies at once is cheating, no matter how you look at it.

The same annoying bit where enemy units with more range than mine attack my units from behind the castle, and my units don't fight back because they're attacking the castle, is still there. >>

The game it's self isn't half bad. Not much has changed from the first one concept wise, but there are many additional units and upgrades, which kept me happy for a while.
The story is really, really bad. Some parts appeared twice, and others are practically a copy and paste of lord of the rings. I really dreaded the story segments.
Over all, 4/5. Work on the plot of your next game a bit more, I think.

The whole protector thing is pretty lame really... i'm knocking at the enemy's doorstep and then 50 elite footsoldiers, archers, and catapults suddenly spawn, beat back all of my forces, and then destroy my castle... LAAAME
