Having trouble winning? here's a strategy that works up until you fight a boss (level 16) upgrade tower arrows while getting to 9999 mana. after this is done, max out your protector type unit (the big warrior guy) send big warrior guys and catapults/trebuchets/cannons as quickly as possible until reaching 0 mana, then let your mana refill to 9999 while killing the revenge wave with arrows (super arrows!!!!) once revenge wave is dead, send new 9999 mana wave for the kill (more like slaughter)

Agreed with KeithWalters. The game is a boring grind fest that breaks its own rules to try and, I think, alleviate the boredom. Ultimately its amusing, but smacks of lazy design work and gets old really fast. The sad part is that it is better than the first game in the series.

I agree, handyman, it's not a stacked deck if you can win, and when I was getting my rear-end handed to me on a blood-stained platter by the platoon of protectors that showed up out of nowhere, I gave some serious thought as to whether I was engaging in "John Deere" diplomacy in my attacks. But when the enemy goes from having bronze weapons and armor to frikken -lightsabers and depleted uranium energyshielded armor so tough that even my fully upgraded castle gets run over like a squirrel stuck in Gorilla Glue, -well, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you ;)

Stupid glitch...
I had a cannon, and I send it out to their fort. They send out one archer. Because it was supposedly standing higher than normally for units, it couldn't be hurt by the cannon. Plus my arrows weren't in range. So, I almost lost a cannon to an archer because of a graphic glitch. One more reason that this is more of an epic grind than a war.

I partially agree with both Handymantracy and KeithWalters. Cheating shouldn't be allowed on either side but you can win this game.

It's really not a stacked deck if I can win. I thought that way when I got close to winning a level quickly and the hordes of troups came at me. I then figured out I needed to take a bit more time and build myself up first. It's like invading a country with a bunch of rednecks in a few pick-up trucks. It might sound fun but your gonna get ur butt kicked.

Moderators;question. Although there are serious consequences should a -player- be caught cheating, does it make sense to allow the game creator to cheat and have the computer AI act outside of the in game logic? The "revenge" waves featured here defy game logic and are (unless my math is waaay off) for lack of a better term, cheating. Rather than making the game more challenging, this "fudging" punishes players for using strategy, tactics, and common sense. Cheating shouldn't be allowed on -either- side of the fence, but allowing developers this 'quick-fix' actually encourages sloppy game development. (quietly gets off soapbox, gives the moderators his two cents worth and revises his score of 5 stars to 1 star (and encourages every voter who dislikes playing against a stacked deck to do the same).

This game needs group summoning... just basically instead of getting a castle upgrade should increase the number of units summoned per click, without increasing mana cost. ( some don't get any increases, just the lower level summons.)

You do not have to hobbit spam any boss for either level 17 or 18, especially level 18. Just grind to max all three races experience and then just the elf titan and angel soldier on both bosses. it will take around 20 minutes each fight, game is very fun, original, different and exciting each time it is played. 1/5

Final Level- Use arrows and hobbits until your mana gets to 9999. Don't waste mana upgrading archery, barracks, etc. upgrade castle to summon Titan. once Titan is summoned get angel, then another angel. should drop enemy castle.
Final Boss - 4 red dragons, 4 angels, 2 elf titans = win. easy but time consuming...
