Do not and I repeat DO NOT use magic, arrows, or more than one angel knight against The Lord of Hell. He absorbs their damage and make health. I realized that after I made 100 wizards and instead of getting weakening the guy was getting stronger. Also I figured out why he can only be beaten by elves is because the elves titans attack is more ranged than the other races so when it attacks the lord of hell doesnt attack back, so no regular ground infantry should be used just use the elves titan and just "ONE" angel knight to keep the little guys at bay.

There is a strategy I came up with for the harder levels with boss units and huge counter attacks. (With elves) Get to maximum mana, and send assassins, dryads, hunters, and phantom archers, but NOT TOO MUCH. If you do too much damage to the castle, they will send 5 counter attacks at once. Wait for them to send just 1 or 2, with maybe a boss unit that you can take out with the rain of arrows. As the counter comes, let it get in front of the castle, and send stronger units such as protectors and phantom archers. Then rinse and repeat. This strategy will work against the frog general too, just send only ranged units and hobbits against him. He cant move because he keeps attacking the hobbits, with 200+ archers pulverizing him. I don't care about getting rated up, I'm just sick of people saying it's impossible.

Woot! Victory. Bosses were easy. Didn't even have an angel for the first one. Max mana and every 1200 mana you get YTE with Elves eventually saving up for Angels & dragons after you've earned them. You'll stop even the last boss from attacking back once your army grows strong enough. Levels are all beatable in about 20 minutes except the boss ones.

two more levels and two more hard achievements are mine... Just hope I do a better job at holding off the final boss since the level 16 came in and made it half way to my castle. Although I'll have Angels in the next two rounds.

I used elves againist LOrd of Hell and Ice base(frog) and used Arch angel againist The ENd. I noticed Angels are effective againist The End including Arch angle.

@DementiaDisdain That's what I did. It just happened that their Angel Knight wiped out that army without breaking a sweat. Along with the Angel, they sent over 80 paladins... Since I did not have the Archangel unlocked, I was forced to spam paladins...The battlefield quickly turned into a massive kill zone...

i got my own human strategy i just spawn in one archangel with very many wizards behind him if i see that his hp is low i sent in a new archangel so that i keep pressure on them their castle will fall and boss will come out just send in hobbits so the boss is moving verry slow and keep spawning wizzards

With max mana you can continuously make the top three armies and a healer with the occasional Cannon. Eventually you can overpower dragons & angels.

@43100Andrew Level 13 was really easy took me one try and about 15 minutes. Don't use any mana on creating army men until you've maxed out your character abilities. Then unleash a strong army and continue mana boosting and the last two levels of arrows. No magic needed just the occasional endless arrows of suppression.

If you want to win final boss with human race, here is the trick, untill you destroy his castle send archangels with 3 canons and 3 wizards in his back, after you destroy the castle send only red dragons with 3 + 3 canons, wizards the boss won't slam the ground vs red dragons and the conons + wizards will kill al the minions units.

Ok, I love the game, but I hate how the final boss can damage your castle, even from the other end of the map. I got him down to 100k hp, and then realized that my castle was almost dead. After another few minutes I realized that it was his stupid ground slamming attack. Now, a couple hours of my day is wasted on that boss, even though he never left the right edge of the screen.

Ow..finally I beat level 13...Guys..DO NOT try to beat that level without an Archangel...it took me four hours and over 4000 dead paladins to beat it.

Only real downfall to this game is that you're supposed to be one giant Lord of the Rings styled army yet you can't mix and match your preferred units from each one.

Strategically the best opener is to not send units and rely on arrows and use a lot of mana boost. Keep sending no units but upgrading then save up and Pally wizard and healer it up.

Wtf.... level 6 is broken as hell. Can't get anyone in close enough because cheap units get knocked back and expensive units cost too much to send in large enough numbers. Fix that crap.

Easy way to get easy badge, Play first level 2 times, Play 2nd level 1 time. Congratulations you killed 100 enemies. Ps: Dont be in too much of a hurry to get as many guys out. Keep the sides about even.

i used to think hobbits are useless, til once when i wanted to distract the elven archers i sent them hobbits... and those little bastards ran towards archers and killed em with ease, awesome little bastards they are really !

2/5 - better than a sharp stick in the eye, and the first game, but little else. Derivative and lacking polish - Epic War fails to accomplish anything that Bowmaster didn't do better.

Yes, it is missing a fast-forward button, which comes in later sequel. Apparently, this one is the most annoying one among series. The other ones are fast enough.

am I missing something? There are like 5 icons that sit at what looks like about 1/4 'charge' just sitting there. First couple levels my enemy had archers, larger warriors, a mage and I had just foot soldiers.
