dragonboy, that's why you're too slow. Use arrows and keep adding mana pool until you have good amount of mana and start upgrading and spamming the good units.

orc totems dont make sense, they are not totems, they are like witch doctors, they should be named like orc demon mage or something

Not as good as the first. Enemy units upgrade faster than you and they have to much health and they have more mana than you. Can you make it to where they dont have so much mana? on the third level at the start they launched 5 CATAPULTS and i lost within the first minute and it does the same thing every time i play it. FIX IT. 2/5

HAHAHA!!! A Dragon Ball Z reference! At the "cutscene" before level 5, one of the elves says,"Their numbers are over 9000!" The elf's superior says,"What? 9000?" HAHAHAHA!!!

What i REALLY don't like is that the more you advance a race through research the worse your mana regeneration gets! It's stupid. Yes you get a +XXX to your max mana, but that caps at 9999 and then you can't do the upgrades as many times. Which all means that when you do hit 9999 mana, you're only regenerating at like 60/tick instead of 120/tick. And also when you have all those upgrade is when you need the most mana at the fastest rate.

The game looks nice at least, and has a decent storyline. The interface is clunky and slow to respond, and the unit information works about 3 times in 10. The game itself moves far too slowly, and little strategy is required. The upgrade system works well, but having to upgrade everything every map gets tiresome.
The difficulty is pretty low, assuming you can survive the massive unit rush that the computer gets in later levels when their castle takes damage.
The music was just as terrible as in the first one. The sound effects are not quite as irritating as in the first. It feels like more attention was paid to the artwork than to gameplay and interface.

the overlord should be easier, i mean the overlord by himself would be peachy, but the point that he brings like 200 of the best guys with him is impossible (so far) even when i had like 2 arch angels whacking away at him and like, 30 paladins (couldnt get any more than 30 cuz they died too quickly) and everything was already fully upgraded

@superdork - can you please explain to me how the hell you consider the graphics to be "horrible"? I have seen people say this before on games with great graphics and it irritates me. Did you expect 3D? Did you expect a d*mn artist to paint a freaking picture to use as the background? How is this bad graphics? I seriously want to know!
I really think by reading some of the comments (here and on other games) that game developers are seriously under appreciated. Especially since the people making the comments are playing them for free! I don't mind constructive criticism but don't be an a** about getting to play something that took hard work to make when all you have to do is click a link! If you paid for it and didn't like it, then you can be an a**.
Anyway, I think the game is great and seems to be better than the first. I personally like the fact that after you unlock levels you use mana during the battle to upgrade them, although I can see how that could annoy people.

I'm not sober enuff to figure out if waiting for arrows or upgrading mana is better.. I think arrows then mana a few times then arrows again is the best course, but I'm impaired atm...

The starting mana boost in the patch was the best part of it. This game is still poorly designed though. If there is a third one an you pull this in battle upgrading stuff you need to make it cost something besides mana. So boring having to build up for long just to get the fight started. The fight also doesn't start until you damage their castle like to half then it spams 100's of high end people at you. Feels very rigged an dumb.

by the way level 6 hit them with squires that are maxed after you upgrade your mana to around 2500 max and when they use the tomes and cata aim for them and let your squires kill the rest
