Goddamn. I'm all for a challenge, but this game is ridiculous. You spend 10-20 minutes upgrading your units and spamming cheap units only to be completly crushed by a gigantic wave of enemies. It's a waste of time.

I've spent the last 5 days carefully upgrading all of my units and warding off enemies with the arrows in order to beat lvl. 6.
I just beat lvl. 6 by spamming hobbits. Only hobbits.

This Mirran badge is entirely ridiculous. I keep losing interest in these 20-minute long battles. The reward here is too far away for me to really care. Mostly I find this game boring.

Tip, upgrade your bow to maximum (if possible), then upgradeyour castle and troops, finally increase mana to a great number, and then slide your fingers through these buttons: T-Y-U and H-J-K for Epic Win

*Shakes head* I thought my comments were good enough to help out people...I guess not. I can maybe repost, but I'm sure they won't mean anything anyways. Its ok, everything you need to know is saved at the top I guess.

In response to convoi:
Actually, mages are the worst idea against the demon king. If you look at his stats(it sometimes appear if you put the mouse cursor on units on the field), you can see that he Absorbs the attacks from magic and ranged units, and the only thing that can damage him is, well, close combat. Angels appear to be the best unit to spam, because their sword strike can hit far away enough that he won't counter, and does more damage than their magical ranged attack.
Generally, the best strategy in any level is to rely mostly on your ballistae tower in the beginning so you can spend time upgrading all your stats(send out a few dwarfs and maybe some bombermen to help keep them off, they're pretty cheap.) After maxing out your mana (you don't need to max out mana for the first few levels, they're easier) just spam the better units.
The harder levels will have revenge waves, which can be dealt with easily if you have a decent amount of mana left.

it would be cool if there were more backgrounds like when he says we will strike at midnight it could be dark and there would be like fires burning. it would just make the game a little less same old same old all the time...great game 5/5

@eevee444 yes you can play it hacked but that takes all the fun out of the game and the point of computer games are to have fun.

i tried to spam squires at the elves, it was working but then they summoned a wave of protecters! i thought there was no revenge waves !
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The waves are to easy the bosses are to hard add and subtract a little from both. I mean seriously i could keep it up all day just with the arrow on the waves sent. The boss however has far to much health and takes like an hour to beat its just boring after a while.

This game is absurd. Fun, but for a terrible and annoying element: revenge armies.
If you begin assaulting and damaging the opponent's base, out of nowhere, a legion of 50+ high-level enemies spews forth and destroys what you've crafted. Games are fun as long as there are rules, and as long as both sides have to play by those rules.
3/5.

The only "strategy" I've found that works for me is relying almost entirely on your castle's arrows for the beginning portion of the stage until you can increase your max mana. Once you can afford Paladins, send one out and increase your mana pool as much as possible before it dies, then send another one and repeat.
