well wouldnt u want the game long for the fact that u would have something to do...i say the only bad things are that u dont start out with ur upgrades and the enemy hobbits are untouchable by your arrows

Would be SO MUCH Better if you cut it about 1/3 of size... or made the races you acquire have shared exp or something... going back and trying to raise the Elves and then the Orcs, From Start, is ignorant and a HUGE waste of time.
Really fun game... really long and drawn out for no benefit other than time wasting.

breaktroll: upgrade everything in the battle. kill everything with ur arrows. then unleash the most powerful unit with a bunch of hobbits. this way the hobbits take most of the hits as well hold the enemy back. thats what i have done the entire game.

Nah RobLib, Im on lvl 17 and let me tell you its impossible to win with just the arrow tower :P Especially against bosses and when about (literally) 200 enemies are coming at you.

Dilts36: I said you COULD win with the Arrow Tower if it DID reach the other castle. You can kill every enemy with just arrows if you upgrade it fully.

too hard compared to the original. enemy gets units wayyy before the player does.
Plus it seems you're full of yourself a little. all that sucktastic dialogue with almost zero gameplay improvements.

Oh, and if your gonna upgrade the mana pool, make sure you do it as soon as the upgrade is available, that way you're getting the largest amount of mana every second.

Okay, for the people who complain about the mana regen, here's a little tip: The amount of mana generated every second is directly related to the max mana you have. You start off with only getting around 1-3 mana a second. If you max the mana pool up to 9,999, you get around 50 a second. The best thing to do is not send any units out at all. Keep upgrading your mana pool and arrow tower. Occasionally you can send out a guy or two so you don't move your arrows tower away from the bigger mobs of people. Once you've fully upgraded the mana pool and the arrow tower, the game is easy as hell. Just wait for the mana poll to be full, and send out a bunch of your strongest people (Paladins usually in the early levels). If you send them all out at once, the game is very easy. You could win with just your arrow tower if the range was long enough.

i can't beat lvl 6 and 7! it's just too hard. those guy's with huge-ass swords don't die, even with two bombermen! if someone has a tip i would greatly appreciate it.

I think the game is a nice concept, but having to pay mana to upgrade the parts within the game slows it down immensely. A speed control would help that. That would make it less ghastly to have to keep replaying the game multiple times to level up the different races.
