Haven't Finished yet but I've noticed that until you strike the enemy base, they are kind of passive. Given this info:
Start by building up your shooter and mana until both are maxed, then spam out the troop buildings until they are maxed. Only after all upgrades are complete and mana is 9999 again should you put any real effort into taking the enemy castle. When the castle gets busted up, they will launch a HUGE counterattack, but with 100+ upgraded units and massive mana regen, you should be able to stop them and take the castle in your next big push.

When you lose, it should at least give you the points you get for killing so many of the enemy. Just getting experiance from the battle dosen't do much.

A tip! Fight orcs with nothing but Hobbits,easy as pie. Any tips on fighting elves tho there tricky wit there super spammin super melee guys that have a million hp and do a million dmg :(

The enemies untis are to strong and have to many numbers ESPECIALLY CLERICS! Ok game but the other epic wars are way better.

wow cheating lvl 3, is definitely unfair, they spam 18 units all of a sudden and their hunters dont die from my arrows that SHOULD be cutting them down but NOOOOO i guess not >_> stupid badge thing for alliance...

Wow. And I thought the sequels to this game were total crap. You mean to tell me the massive difficulty curve where the CPU suddenly starts spamming hundreds of advanced units at you was also present in the previous titles, but that you previously had to upgrade your units EVERY TIME ON THE FIELD?!! No wonder I got swarmed by a million pissy fanboys for badmouthing Epic War 3 -- that game is a masterpiece compared to this festering turd! Kongregate should be damn ashamed of themselves for sticking a badge of this game in an event quest. Hell, they should even be ashamed to have this game on their website AT ALL. IT IS THAT BAD.

This game is everything the name suggests. It is epic. Quite a good game for its time and considering it is a free internet game. It is also a war. AND its the second epic war.

It gets really unfair on levels, if you wait long enough, on level one your opponent will have a catapult, horses, and tons of monsters.

The scoring formula in this game is crazy. You get points for building and killing troops. So, basically, a slow war of attrition is more profitable than a quick, decisive victory.

Don't you love how you have the massive bow on your castle that can kill all the other opponents troops? I went afk with 4 bows being shot automatically. I came back and my castle was undamaged and after I won I had a BUNCH of points from kills,

Specifically, it needs autosummoning as an option, and for some upgrades to be immediate on level start. It's especially silly that the first part of every level is building the mana pool and tower back up.

completely pathetic game was @ mission 7 almost had them down, then suddenly 50 overpowered swordsman come out of the blue. After i took em down and was trying to reinforce they already had 5 catapults + another 20 swordsman coming @ me.
It was like they found the pot of gold @ the end of the rainbow and wished for a zillion mana to take me down.
1/5 stars because im pissed off now

It's well-made. But this is not very fun; it takes all of the tedious aspects of past Epic War games and consolidates them.

This game is by far the stupidest game ever made just playing this game annoys me. The only way to beat this game is to stay home all day and play this game
