Guide (if you play as default). Max little peon goblin and add 1-2 points to bigger starter card.
Add 1 point to engineer if you want (not necessary). Fire succubus to 5, magic cannon to 5. Optionally dragon rider to 5. Phoenix to 3, and comet shoot to 5. You'll never worry about dying off.
Maxing the stupid little imps is a great distraction. Send a whole ton of them forward when you need time to regen. FS / MC will kill 99% of shit if they have a tank.

Pick the first guy and the game will be super easy. Once you start unlocking those harpy things and the cannons, you will beat everything with no problem.

favorite tactic: get seven unit cards and start battle, then send out hero to stop army and max units, then run back to base and use comet on other hero. he will charge, wait for him to come to you and your unit will attack

this game seems to lack any kind of proper controls, and is essentially brainless with the strategy of a 5 year old needed. terrible compared to the other epic wars. i must say this game is epic FAIL

I forgot to add having a bit more information on each of the monsters might be nice. From experience some of them seem to have elemental strengths or weaknesses but I can't be sure as the battles can get hectic.

Much better than the previous two. I like the change to cards and spells rather than the arrow system. I think it needs to be made clearer how you get all the cards, I've beaten the game a few times with multiple heros and done all 5 caves and I'm still missing 1. Perhaps I'm just unlucky. I think the only thing that needs to be fixed is a little more balance between the various fights (rather than hard for the first few and then really easy until the last one in normal). Challenge mode was enjoyable. Meteor and cannon were overpowered.

Once I got the magic cannon, the opponent hasn't made it to my base yet. Haven't cleared the game yet, but I probably will tomorrow. Nice game. I love the entire series.

Talk about predictable: Draw the opposing hero out with a comet as soon as you can get one. No matter what your army is composed of, you will slaughter him. After that, it's just a matter of enough ranged attacks + some cannon fodder to win - ANY battle, ANY difficulty (except Cave #5, still working on that one)

ok i could see how this would be a good game but to be honest, I'm disappointed.
I was expecting it to be like the first two epic war games with arrows and troops that just move and this should have been named something else because the main thing with epic war was the arrows which have been taken away. anyways hope you bring back the old epic war and maybe combine them to make it strategy too.

This game offers a less tedious, and more complex game style than the other games in the serie.
A possible improvement is increase hero maximum level.

Note: super goblin is invincible.
Bring all your ranged units except cannon (so that would be dwarves, centaurs, witches, mermaids, and succubi) plus some goblins of your own.
During the fight, all your ranged units should be allowed to gather together before pushing into the castle. This way, when the super goblin starts to attack, it'll immediately get hit by a giant wave of magic. The combined knockback of all the shots will prevent him from getting any further than where he's standing.
Have the dwarves and goblins provide as much padding as possible while you continue to crush everything that tries to get out of the castle.
With that, you should be able to finish the area with minimal trouble.
In fact, this same team lineup could conceivably win any battle, unless you like your cannons so much as to swap out the goblins.

Fun first, but got worse when i started to meet those guys with giant axes who 1 AOE hit everything, and the Succubuses. 2/5

the dwarf thing is over powered in a group it shouldnt knockback or it bcomes 2 strong and u go afk for 5 mins and u win after its lv 2-3

after further playing, i think this deserves a 5/5 it is much better than the first two. i like the gameplay and good graphics.congratulations!

When I look back at my old comments, I feel like a tool, I'm currently on my 3rd play through lol. It gets a lot better once you get some more cards, complete the game at least once.
