@Ratmouse: Don't use any titan units, my set-up was: Archer, centaur, dragon knight, cannon, succubus & black knight. was an easy win :)

Lol I tried making ONLY titans as my team... Tried CoT 1... Their Fire titan killed 2 of my titans all lvl 5 and I lost my other titan tried to hold the base and died

Yes, but even so, that means the goblin wont be focusing on your units, so your units would be able to destroy the castle before the goblin got there anyway. It worked for me perfectly first time -.-

Goblin + Mermaid + Sucub + Wich + Dragon Knihgt----- Athena, Hercules, Ice storm & Electrical storm and meteor.... wait o full unit spawn.... go forward... meteor the middle bombers... as you r getting to the castle... cast Athena and Hercules... meteor the goblin and automatically freeze him and shock him... the push forward constantly... the goblins of ur party wi enter the enemy castle...the goblin will try to atack them and will turn his back on you and your units... every tiem a sel hiits him... hell go forward and backwards constantly and hell get stuck between your hero and the dragon knights and your goblins but he´ll never atack... and wnt have time to the casters the dragon knight and the hero will use him like a pinball... menwhile the goblins will destroy the castle... Did it and re tested it 5 tiems...always flawless Victory... =D

In order to bet the goblin level, use units that push other units back like the ice mermaid things...thats how i bet it

Sorry luke214 but there's one flaw in ur tactic. DO NOT USE THE PHEONIX STRIKE IF UR UNITS ARE AT THE GOBLIN!!!! IT WILL HOP OVER ALL UR UNITS AND HEAD TO UR CASTLE IF U USE THE PHEONIX AT THAT POINT!!!! thats how the goblin "somehow" got past ur units and to ur castle.

Finally, the tactics, now you want to wait until all your creatures have spawned before charging, whilst in the mean time just comet shoot all their bombers in the centre of the level.
Once all your people have spawned, charge their castle, use rain of arrows to get rid of some of their units quickly.
Now you want to use Athena protection once you are near the castle so the invisible frog wont kill you, and straight after the Athena protection, you should use Hercule's strength so you can get a lot of damage done to their castle.
Now, when about halfway through the two buffs, you want to release ALL your spells, phoenix strike, freeze trap the invisible goblin to keep it in place and comet shoot their enemies.
Somehow though, I managed to let the goblin pass all my units and head straight to the castle, but if you follow my strategy, you should be able to destroy their castle before the Invisible goblin even reaches your castle. Good luck!

Now you want to choose these spells;
Comet shoot – Good for destroying all their bombers in centre of level, and keeping goblin at bay.
Rain of arrows - Good for hurting all enemies across map.
Freeze trap – Good for freezing invisible goblin so he cannot proceed to your castle.
Phoenix strike Good for destroying all their reinforcements.
Hercule's strength – Good for building up extra damage against their castle.
Athena protection – Good for keeping protected against their invisible goblin.
After adding all of those, the total mana should amount to exactly 2950.

Hello, I'm going to try and help people who cant beat the Cave of Trials level 5, the invisible goblin.
Firstly you want to either choose the green ogre person, or the dark blue character because they have the most mana available.
Now, you want to choose these units;
Goblin – good for fast spawns
Dwarf Engineer – good for fast spawns
Succubus – good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Mermaid - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Witch - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Centaur Archer - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Ok, that should take up exactly 1225 mana.

All spells that affect your own units affect all of them at once no matter where you cast them, the targeting thing for those is more of a confirmation.

How to beat cave 5 - Use Units- Witch, Centaur, Black Knight, Succubus, Goblin, Mermaid, Use Spells - Healing, Phoenix Bird, athena hercules and zeus wrath work on everything. even spells. snake, just keep knockc it in the air, and when your 35 man army of goblins gets to the castle, use hercules str and it will kill it before the goblin gets to your castle. Hercules, Athena, and Arrows. Just keep hitting forward. When your mass army is at the front of the castle and you hear the first ring, cast Athena on your melee units and Hercules on your ranged units. Use phoenix and arrows when you have less troops and want to clear out the way.
