you can beat the first battles one try. definitely not what i was expecting/hoping from epic war. it shouldn't even be in the epic war series, because its so completely different. but not that bad. 4/5

My strategy is: let all troops at castle at beggining, exept hero, that kills those zombies and goblins, then, when all of my troops are full or almost full, i put goblins and long range units behind, the most strong and hero in front, and summon meteor to hit enemy hero and his bigger troops. Revenge wave is not hard, specially with succubus. You get new cards after some battles...

Definitely needs a lot of improvement. On many occasions I tried telling my hero to retreat, only to have him stay in battle and get killed - same with my units. Having units rally at your side of the map is annoying, they should rally where you last told that unit to move to. Needs much more diversity of units for each character, perhaps have each one start with completely different units from other characters - there's certainly enough units to do this. I've found that sometimes my special (meteor) won't come down and I have to click numerous times before it's fired (same with unit movement). Being able to click the map and have the camera move there would be a nice improvement. Needs a lot of work, but it certainly has the ability to be much better than the other two.

Epic War 1= really good game. Epic War 2= some what worse but still good. Epic War 3= WTF worst game ever created. 1/5. I still don't get how it is a Epic War

I like that rudy wanted to keep the game fresh I think the graphics could be a lil better but overall it was pretty good only real problem i have with it is the lack of story

the game is very good, but getting started for me was very frustrating. The tidal wave of enemy troops you receive once you get the enemy castle down to half health are hard to overcome in the beginning. In my opinion getting cards quickly is the most important factor. Like I've said earlier, this game is not epic war, it is very good and innovative because it integrates card play and collection into RTS gaming. But that innovation is exactly what makes this game feel so distant from the other epic wars for me.

Requesting:
- Hero HP display near his portrait at top to know when to call him/retreat.
- Hero retreat to ovverride aggro, so he won't stick too long and die.
- uhmmm what the others said

...shadragon W3 came first, but ya they are based on that which is rather pointless but the whole series has taken races from other major games and stories and stuff, the card battle system is not as good as the battle system in EW2 still 5/5

Completely unfair trigger system... If you get the enemies HP too low they bypass the time limit to spawn units and just go wild. The enemy hero frequently respawns. Graphics are subpar. Gameplay is slow and I find the chat to be more entertaining. Intentionally having to lose to gain the necessary amount of cash for upgrades is ridiculous.

Best in series but breaks away from the original concept, so technically this game is not Epic War, But an entirely new game

just like all the other epic wars, the battles are boring and take forever... :/, you would think they learned thier lesson with the first two. It feels like work rather than fun. 4/5.
