The recipe to win cave 5, you have to choose the green general. the troops: Centaurs, Succubus, Mermaids, Witches, goblins and the black knight. Spells: Athena, Phoenix, Hercules, Comet and Healing spell. In cave 5, wait until all troops are loaded, then attack with the troops, NOT the spells. When the transparent goblin attack, give him a lightning bolt and keep pressing forward so the troops will be attacking the castle and keeping the goblin paralysed. The transparent goblin will never die until you destroy the castle, destroy the castle. + This to let everyone know, and thx ^_^

@william2226 that yellow winged thing is suck this is my strategy 1.intercept all enemy that atking your castle with your hero 2.wait until all unit is max. 3.ATKKK. 4.all enemy hp is like river that goes down quickly except that yellow thing i got 20 sec to kill that

Under rating threshold (hideshow) nice :D, beat cave 5 before all others thanks to this thread: here are the must haves to beat Cave 5.Spells:Athena, Phoenix, Hercules, Comet and Healing spell. Troops: Centaurs, Succubus, Mermaids, Witches, goblins and the black knight keep this commnet alive by copy pasting it but since I had Grullborg Grimtooth I had enough mana to replace goblins and black knights by frost giant and dragon rider + i had the lightning bolt card extra it worked out just fine^^

you should star with the red hero its easier then, but for the Caves of Trial its better topick the green one: more mana

Thanks to Br34ky and others have now beaten CoT5; one adjustment (thanks TheNeCafe and httpisawesome) use Rain of Arrows instead of comet - it is more efficient at getting rid of the enemy's cannon fodder and does not disturb the invisible goblin as long as he is in his original spot

F*** THE CAVE OF TRIALS ITS JUST RETARDED LVL 3 IS JUST OVERLOAD OF ENEMIES HOW DO U SURVIVE IT WHEN THEY CALL 4 BACK UP 8 TIMES THEN U GET 154 ENEMIES ON THE SCREEN MOST OF WHICH R WITCHES WH SPAM UR ASS OFF

IMPORTANT! if you want to win eaaly on the revenge waves use the spells athena and the ice attack-freeze. use ice first and after they thaw use athena, i usually beat all waves with this combo.

Honestly having an invincible goblin that can kill your castle with one hit in the Cave of Trials Level 5 is just poor game design. Big let down.
