So what exactly does Athena protection do? I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong, but it doesn't ever seem to do anything...

Ok...I did the cave of trial 5 again and this time...I saw a transparent imp...that you can hit but it will never die..and it 1 hit kos everything it hits...glitch?

To beat Cave of Trial 5: Equip Units: Mermaid, Witch, Black Knight, Frost Giant, Phantom Armor, and Magic Cannon. Equip Spells: Athena Protection (Key Card, get by using Grullborg Grimtooth) freeze trap, healing wave, comet shoot, Hercule's strength, & lightning bolt. Strategy: Use comet shoot to bring they enemy Hero out to you to kill him: DO NOT hit the tiny transparent goblin. Keep all of your units back behind the halfway mark. Once Athena Protection is about 3/4ths of the way charged, send out all units. once they are 3/4ths of the way across the map, use Athena Protection & Hercule's strength. This allows you to prevent the High damage the transparent goblin deals & deal as much damage to the enemy castle as possible. Once the counter-waves start coming, use all available attack spells to keep their bombers away from your units. Reward: Berserk card/Zues Wrath - Critical 100%

When I was doing cave of trial 5...something just took out my hero, at full hp in one hit..and my castle was at 0 hp in 1 hit i have no idea what happened ... was it supposed to happen in cave of trial 5? All I saw was 99999 damage or something

all you need for strategy is horde your units until phoenix charges, then rush. use meteor and arrows as often as possible, then use invincibility and double damage when its available.

wow so i finaly get to the enemies base on cave of trials 4 and on the revenge wave they thorw 2 more water titans on me along with 400 units...after i fianly killed ther shadow titan thats what i get.

to beat trial 5 you need these units especially: Mermaid, succubus, goblin. and also i suggest: flying armor: dragon rider, taurus. spells you will need are: Invincibility, double damage, meteor, pheonix. upgrade all of those to level 5 before you try the last trial....

guys i can see why you complain about the revenge wave or whatever you want to to call it there's a simple way to defend yourself against it, have your weaker units attack it and damage it while your stronger units are in the middle to intercept the main wave, but luckily if you have the hercules strength card that shouldn't be the case, that cards makes your overall str 2x stronger so by the time the enemy revenge wave comes you will have killed off the castle before they manage to injure you or your troops

u get less max mana at level 30 evry time you kill evry1 on the map not fair. and the ghost goblin is kick ass dodn't know how u beat it.

This game is near to being the WORST startegy game I have ever played. I expected better from epic war. There is horrible AI, my hero can't even stand a single hit from an enemy hero, he hits worse than my NORMAL units, enemies get new cards every battle, I've gotten one in seven battles, the trowing mechanics are horribly bugged and even if they weren't it would still be a bad mechanic. Bugs plague this game. All the battles are the same. The choice to switch from stages to cities to counquer was a very bad one. You don't get enough money and never know when your hero levels, and you can't tell from gameplay because he seems to get WORSE! Overall, stick to what you do best: stage based gameplay with lots more fine-tuning than this seems to have, and units you have to buy. I mean, seriously, CARDS? And also , do't forget stage replayibility!

good game better that the other epic wars i didnt really like them at all but this one is good (all cards but 1 lvl 5 challenge is hella hard) some tips for everyone:
max a calvery/rider unit (dragon riders or black knights) and hold them back until the retaliation wave appears then send them to hold or push back the reinforcements
dont even try the cave of trials if your computer isnt blazing or you will crash mine is almost brand new and still lagged heavily
use the magic cannons with something heavy in front and they will push very far

it's a really good game.For me the best epic war.Qithout arrow is better, in the other epic war with arrow u kill all, here u need strategy and complete a lot of time the game for get all the card. 5/5

Rembrant the bloody is very good u just need to upgrade the archers keep ur goblins defending by ur base use spells to kill the group at their base. Then use one to lure the hero to u and kill him. send in the goblins first keep ur archers back and wait till u get max archers then advance with ur hero next to goblins and archers in back and
