Oh my god, floricel, how was I this stupid. I didn't think about that. It actually works. Time to only use the heal, strength, flame eagle, and athena's protection spell

The 'LAG' when attacking an enemy fort is very frustrating. I really enjoyed the game, but waiting many seconds while the game is in slo-mo during the critical battle is a turn off!

True, true. Floricel that is also a good thing about lag. Cause these generals take so long to listen to you, so you have enough time to spam the retreat button or tell them to go back.

basicly the lore is like this: The father of Viegraff was the king of the whole kingdom (the map), one day a rebellion leaded by Trevouz killed the king and put all the kingdom in chaos with help of Remblant, one of his allies, Viegraff took by himself a piece of the kingdom in the norwest, then Remblant reclaimed a piece in the southwest of the kingdom, invaders came from other lands due to the kingdom being weakend, Abe mukananga came from the south and took the southeast part of the kingdom, Gald conquered the north and center of the kingdom, Trevouz remained in the noreast and the lord of shadows summoned his minion, Grullborg Grimthooth to destroy all and free him from his prision (the caves of trial)

Does your hero get stronger as you conquer more lands? I feel like he doesn't cause as you start playing and conquering more areas, he dies faster.

Epic War 3? More like Epic Lag 3. This game used to lag on my old windows 7 a bunch of years ago, and it still does to this day, on my windows 10 powerful computer

I love the generals in this...They're like
"An enemy you say? Ah yes, wait for me to finish my entire attack then I'll run to fight them"
"I am about to die? Better continue fighting instead of running back to heal!"

More tips for cave 5. The infamous invincible goblin.
Nothing new here, just want to say that Centaur, Succubus, Mermaids and Witches are almost essential. Succubus is a little dangerous that they throw up, but have best wave-clearing of the 4 against the counter-waves.
With a bit better timing, I managed to do cave 5 with only 2750 mana when you can work with a max 3500. So it just requires more time than difficulty getting these cards. I had to do 4 different full playthroughs.

Tip for Cave of Trial 5, the invincible goblin: Don't use succubus, cannon and/or any other unit that will send the goblin flying. Whenever you see him up in the air, it's either baserace or direct game over as other units will push him towards your base for some reason.

Fun game overall, but for some reason the invincible goblin is bugges for me. Shortly after I start pushing him back he suddendly decides to teleport himself to my base. Tried it several times with different setups but sadly nothing worked. Other than that the game is more balanced than it seams at first.

I don't get it. Things seemed to be going fairly easily, but now every time I get close to the enemy's castle their units stop spawning only to come out in one big wave that just wipes me.

Here's a very fun way of defeating Cave of Trial 4: Only works with Green hero, because of mana issues and other Cave cards are required. You pick Mermaid, Witch, Centaur, Succubus, Fire Demon and a tanky unit like Frost Giant. For skills you pick Comet, Heal, Freeze, Athena's, Hercule's strengh and Zeus' Wrath (Yep, both). Ingame, you just kill the Shadow Lord, and get your Fire titan to enemy castle. When first wave horn sounds, pop all your skills and watch the show.

The game overall is fun and not too overly difficult. But in the last few sieges of a campaign, the enemy gets way too many of those war horn reinforcement things, especially since we don't get anything like that.. Even if 2 or 3 full blown armies from that war horn (going over the unit limits that we normally have) gather together and rush your base. It's impossible to defend against and is in no way fair :/
