I hate how the programmer is still too lazy to come up with a real enemy ai and instead throws an impossible amount of enemies at you. You either overwhelm them before they summon there solid wall of archers or lose every time. This game gets worse with every iteration.

what's with all these people complaining how hard it is? It would be laughable easy if they didn't have that huge push when you hit their castle and even then it's easily beatable with a little strategy. It's a good game and if you find it too hard then just try thinking, it's a strategy game.

I personally don't find this game to be all that challenging, even when the computer begins to throw a good 100-200 enemies at you at once. Load up some Yettis and Dragon Riders, then get a couple Succubus's and Magic Cannons for cover. Keep charging the whole time with spells for extra cover and you'll never get beaten once, though I have no idea how effective that is for Trial Five, never tried it.

This game is pretty tedious, even on the fun fights. And the fact that when you finally break through their defenses they summon 40+ archers and you instantly lose isn't exactly a plus.

For those of you who don't know how to get cards, you're not gonna unlock them all by going through the game once. Some cards you can only unlock in the cave of trials 1-5 and some cards you can only unlock with a certain hero. Whether leveling your hero is a factor or not, I don't know, since my hero levels at least once in every battle. But if you beat the game, once, to get the rest of the cards, you need to beat the game with the other characters. You cannot get more cards by beating the game twice with the same character. It can be in any battle, with anyone, and you don't even have to be the attacker. However, I'm fairly sure you do have to fight. No autofight. So if you want more cards, go to New Game Plus, or visit the Cave of Trials.

2 things i dont like about the game: 1) the zombies look so wierd. 2) the magic cannons look like they riped off a d***.

the achievements are earning cards from the cave of trials firstly, so that people will quit asking about those...second...why is it when my enemy has witches or succubi, the first one they send out has FAR more hp than all that follow it?

Why are the achievements called achievements? they are more like unlocks...since it doesn't tell you what you did to achieve whatever you did...

First this is a great game and nothing can beat it but at times i've noticedthe enemy can be unfair like at times i would attack and get at the castle and they would come out with like fifty men at once and next thing at no it my castles destroyed but still 5/5

why are the epic war games gettin worse, the frist oone was awesome the second one was alright and now this one is just not good

fromonkey first get most of the cards then get all the people you know who stops or knocks an enemy from advancing, the rest is luck.

Ok apparently the last level is impossible for me. I've played it different ways, different tactics.. Still nothing to beat it. As soon as I get it down halfway they send their super powers at me. If I manage to defend that and attack again.. I'll get their castle down to a quarter, and then they send about 300 guys (no, not an exxageration) and stomp me in one push. After that, I defend from their attack in the next round, and then attack them the next round.. It goes on like this.. I'm on round 18 and it's freakin stupid. 2/5
