Man, those winged fire summoning units are a PAIN. especially when counterattacking. I almost finished their castle only to have my units flung into the air and disintegrate.

the revenge waves are hard as crap but manageable... barely. what is kicking my ass tho is the endless stream of green fireballs some of the people are managing to send my way. i wish i could post a screenshot of it. my entire screen is filled with green fire

in a way there is a unit that casts comet but you can get it too. I've gotten it before. It is more easy to get it when you play as THE RED guy(not bloody red)

ragnarokoi you can't because the game doesn't let you. The computer is allowed to do this because you have spells and he doesn't, have you seen him doing ANY of the spells that you get during the game? NO because thats part of how the maker replaced the archer in EW1 and EW2. Just wait the enemy out by keeping an army at your base tille you got like 25 men then send them all out with X(keeping hero at base) and then wait till the 25 men die which is when you send your now 50+men out to finish them off. You keep doing this until your opponent dies. This also keeps enemies from sneaking behind your armies and destroying your castle.

ragnarokio no the computer doesn't follow the exact same rules because it can unleash men faster and can unleash huge armies(of like 40-50men) when you hit his castle but you have spells to repel it.

LORDDEADMAN I did that exact same strategy for the counter wave and I played as red player and had the red flying girl thing(wtf it is) and the cannon for support which completely blew the enemies away, then the pheonix I got early on finished any extra units that my cannons couldn't get(archers, other cannons, witches, etc.) I used this strategy throughout the game=) I am very annoyed though because I just finished the whole game on newgrounds.com and now I'm gonna have to replay it here where I will make tons of silly mistakes on the final cave level again!(retreating all units instead of full attack, full attack instead of retreat, letting hero die too early, etc.

5 caves completed !!! Got the Bazza!!!! Tried all sorts of ways, but mobbing with foot soldiers and mermaids worked in the end - thanks LORDDEADMAN for your input.

similar towards my feelings for one and two... this game needs a fast forward button. Also it seems the more you drag it out the better. rather than going for quick wins. I look to hold back and just build money and exp. I like the gam and concept etc though... and quite a change from the last two. Keep it up.

Delalcon if you want an archer then heres what I do: pretend that the rock(skill card) is your archer. Also, at the site Newgrounds.com the author said in the description there a message to people like you that wish there was an arrow tower again about how the skills were made to make up for it, plus I think its cooler than a basic archer or something!=)

for final cave,the goblin is easy to beat,use soldiers that are great in size and attack quickly,like goblins,dwarfes,centaurs,tauros,zombies,and kinghts,,these need low mana,add all spells that stun,freeze and other supportive spells,like athena protection,,with the fast attackers,the goblin wont have a chance to attack u,never use the spells that blow them into the air on the goblin or there is a chance he will fly straight to the your castle and destroy it,,once the counter wave comes use your spells,they will die quickly while u keep attacking the castle,i won that way,its easy.keep this live it works.u get zues wraith when u win,it gives u 100% critical on all your soldiers, and spells,they do like 1000 damage each.

A wonderful game, altrough (and I hate to say this) it is NOT at all like the Epic War 1 and 2, and i think you can improve it with a mode in which you might be able to use an archer in your tower (as in EW1,2).
