Cave 1 through 4 tips, important things to have, phoenix (dealing with the rushes), spell that deals 2x damage (important for the "boss"), 1 tank, 3 ranged (witch, succubus, centaur works well), as soon as the boss creature is visible send everything you have at it, your tank will be fodder, as soon as your ranged units start firing throw on a "double damage" spell and the boss drops in no time.

on 2,3,4 just spam with all sorts of melee guys and go all for on offense except your hero which just stands in the back for a safety regard and get the spell if you dont have it, the phoenix spell and upgrade it to lv 5 and take it as often as you can but i have trouble on trial cave 5,
the little goblin just kills my boys directly, suggestions?

**I beat Cave 5 Last Night** To beat it: Creatures: Goblin, Mermaid, Dwarf Engineer, Ghost Armor Spells: Athene Protection, Fireball How?: Keep your army at the base, the stealth goblin won't move from the enemy base unless attacked apon, use fireball spell to protect yourself. Cap out your army then send them all in at once. Works every time. **COPY PASTE this and keep it alive** ~Athenian (12)

I used to hate this game, the change into a slightly card based game had really threw me off, and my bad memories of card based games made me immediately dislike the game before i had even played the first battle. But now, after 2 play-throughs i'm still addicted and now I find that this game is even better than the last two. Sure it has noticeable differences from the last two, but the author has made it something even better. All I'm really saying is GIVE THIS GAME A CHANCE.

I think the major rush when you start hitting the castle makes it half as fun as it is. Especially when you get to the cave of trial... but what the hell is up with the fifth one, the goblins do 99999 damage :S I got owned in less that three minutes.

Ok what the hell is with Cave of Ordeals 5, apparently the hero has 1 hit kill, so I get tricky, I cast the invisible spell on my troops and take him out, but then I still hear the cling of his sword as he takes out every one of my troops and my castle in one shot? WTF!?

to kill an opponent's hero, use the comet thing on him, and he will rush towards you. Gang up on him with YOUR hero, and other monsters

disappointing at best, bad reaction time and a very annoying command system. And please remove that mickey mouse hand thingy... A sword or an armored fist would be more fitting for this game. Until then 2/5 due to how this lets me down.

personally I like this game, but... i don't really know whether or not this is better than EW2... tip: run in with your soldiers kill a few units, fall back and regroupd with your newly spawned units: if theres a big bad enemy who looks hard to beat it will be fallback, regroup

It's not random. When you destroy a castle below 75% 50% or 25% (depending on the level) they send extra units to defend their castle.

Its an ok game...but isn't fantastic or anything. Incredibly repetitive but at least stylisticly it's a change from the last one. Still, you do the exact same thing every single level, win, repeat.
