This is the best strategy to use from lilxzhouyu, for cave 5. I tried the other strategies ( even my own with all four titans mass at the end and hercule str) and they didnt work, i beat it the second try with this one.
-----------------------------------------Cave Trial 5 Tips---------------------------------------- Goblin, Taurus, Dwarf, Centaur, Phantom, Mermaid for units. Freeze, Athena, Hercule's, Freeze, Phoenix, Comet and Heal for spells. Use Comet to lure out the Hero. DO NOT USE PHOENIX until you start attacking the castle with ALL YOUR UNITS. Make Sure you massed everything before you do your final push. Cast Athena's Protection and Hercule's Strength Right 1/2 screen before the imp. Heal periodically, Phoenix, Freeze and Comet when you hear the horn of Gondor.

when you finish a campaign you should be allowed to spend your gold on upgrades before going back to the menu, it's wasted no, I cannot use the final amount

and to those that have probs with the revenge waves; do what I do (which is rush at them until they have died). If you have the right troops (like giant snowman and cannons) and even then just any units, keep on attacking (a healing crystal helps out a TON!) Yay for all out tactics (it works in risk it applies here as well! lol)

This game is a lot of fun! If there is going to be a fourth, they should add a button in the middle that allows you to make all of your troops stand still (maybe you want some troops in the back to catch up or trying to hold a defense other than on the extremes of the map). And maybe make the opponents a little less "I give up". when I had conquered almost all of the board, the enemies stopped attacking during their turns for about five turns. Maybe it was coincidental or maybe not... The world may never know... lol.

The campaign is a bit too easy. I liked the bonus levels, but even the first four of them weren't too hard. Good game though. 5/5.

There should be some redicilous card you get for unlocking every card, like in the center of the achievement circle. maby like that invuln goblin that does 999999dmg

On cave 4 when you hear the horn for a revenge wave retreat immediatly so you dont trigger more than one epic unit at a time kill the epic unit move back up and repeat until finished this should make it a bit easier

I've also noticed that the same monster is called three different names. The 'Diablo', the 'Thunder Dragon' and the 'Earth Titan'. There are other troops that have differnet names, so you might want to consider cleaning this up to avoid confusion.

Congratulations! You just won the You Can Hide, but You Can't Run Badge and 30 points!
Don't use the cannon on cave five the explosion can knock him past your fighting force and let him get to your base.

Finally beat cave 5. Didn't kill the goblin, used witches, cannons, mermaids, comets, and phoenix to keep him knocked up in the air while I beat the castle down.

Great game. Best of the three in my opinion. Giving it a 5/5 simply because this game deserves the monthly prize more than Little Wheel.

Heh, if you can push a fire titan and a water titan to their base, then cast Athena's Protection on them (reduce all damage taken to zero for a duration), you get dead base. The fire titan tornadoes all the enemy units, including the revenge surges, and the water titan knocks back stragglers. Omnomnom, all your base are belong to us.

really laggy when lots of units need a speed up button and those black witches are really annoying with there super long range fire crap dragons...

This game takes some getting used to, is often times confusing, and forces you to think differently (at least until you realize that ranged units are what make you win). I like it, but it could use some better explanation. 4/5
