Flincy, perhaps that is because you haven't bothered trying to figure out what to do before you give the game negative comments. On the map screen go to equip and put your units up at the top.

cave 5 is super easy
just spam easy short spawn units like goblins and stuff
and use fire ball or something when there is a group of bombers
and just get ur berserk!

I like the game on the whole. Thanks for sharing it with us! There is one or two things: I think that there feels like too much repetition - attack, revenge wave, withdraw, spam spells, attack... not much variation. i would say have a few less castles to defeat would really help.

I think the units shouldn't be allowed to push back, and when i start a match 30 enimies appear right away, not really fair i just have 1 to start? it would be a really good game without these idiotic descions. sorry but 1/5

anyways, rudy, make a epic war 4, but add more options, minions, and make more battles, i really hated how fast it is to take control of the area, but its still epic, dont get me wrong, but it needs lots more stuff. you could also try keeping that crossbow on the castle from bieng made again, plz.

slycoopergang, i suggest upgrading all minions to lvl 5 and all spells, equiping health spell and all the best spells, equip ur best minions, make sure ur mana limit is 3,500 and just wait at the front and protect ur casstle until all ur minions are summoned, then press forword, if ur minions start to attack enemys too far out, push retreat, do not equip zombies tho, and btw, the revenge waves in the caves are unfair, the rest of em are easily defeated if you have a titan on the second campain, the first campain, just work as hard as you can to kill them all, anyways, little strategy guide, this tactic works best in most fights, but this is best if you started how i started, anyways, just try this!

WTF? The enemy is ridiculously weak and easy the whole fight, then all of a sudden 50x as many units as he's ever had appear and completely wipe me out. What? That's your game? Retarded.

srry for 3rd post, but the game may start ultra weak, but then it gets interesting... sometimes it gets overwelming... but i dont care how intense it gets, im beating the game with all heros (this is what i think im gona say in 7 days) ughhh, one left to go, but so hard!

The game is fun, no doubt, but some serious design flaws make it pretty average overall. Despite the designers insistence that revenge waves are "fair", they can potentially make it literally impossible to win. If you arrive with their castle with just enough units to get it half way down, then 2-3 waves magically respawn, you can be overrun no matter what you do. Units often outright refuse orders, etc. Needs to be adjusted.

Also additional notes:
Arrow wave card is useless even when fully upgraded
meteor is essential for controlling enemy horde (preventing accumulation by provocation)
The Huge titan cards are good but are pretty useless against non-titan using foes as they take time to summon and you can easily win with a full level 5 set of cards.
Also the fire titan pawns the ice titan. Actually in general the Ice titan sucks as his attacks take way to long to charge and he does not counter well vs ranged.
You can almost finish a first campaign simply with level 5 goblins. They are fast, easy to accumulate and spawn well.

After getting up to the third badge I'm still undecided if I like this game or not. lol. Awful controls but addictive concept. Tips: when you have meteor: use meteor asap on enemy hero at the very beginning, that way he will charge you with very little backup. You can easily kill him off that way. Afterwards assault the castle. When you will have conquered about 2/3 of the map this strategy will not work anymore as the enemy will be able to summon backup in three waves (three horns). In that case after dealing with the enemy hero, retreat and muster your forces for a huge assault. Save your special abilities for when the horns sound. It's a good idea to call phoenix when you reach the castle to take care of the first wave.

Great game; I've never played any of the previous Epic Wars, so I can't validate others' claims of this installments inferiority, but this one is quite engaging. Granted, the game does begin to play itself near the end, but that's only a gateway to the Trial Caves, where is where the game really shines, where the Titans and constant high-level mobs begin to present challenges in power equal to yours.

Yes, you have to rush the 5th cave. Gather all your troops, all of them, dont hit the goblin until youre ready. Hit the goblin with a meteor then use the protection spell. Then use all your magic against the waves that come out, you need to do it before the goblin gets your castle.

this is sad: i didnt know how to sent out troops untill halfway through the 2nd play through. all i did was use my hero and the fireball and i destroyed everyone.
