I don't get it. Things seemed to be going fairly easily, but now every time I get close to the enemy's castle their units stop spawning only to come out in one big wave that just wipes me.

Here's a very fun way of defeating Cave of Trial 4: Only works with Green hero, because of mana issues and other Cave cards are required. You pick Mermaid, Witch, Centaur, Succubus, Fire Demon and a tanky unit like Frost Giant. For skills you pick Comet, Heal, Freeze, Athena's, Hercule's strengh and Zeus' Wrath (Yep, both). Ingame, you just kill the Shadow Lord, and get your Fire titan to enemy castle. When first wave horn sounds, pop all your skills and watch the show.

The game overall is fun and not too overly difficult. But in the last few sieges of a campaign, the enemy gets way too many of those war horn reinforcement things, especially since we don't get anything like that.. Even if 2 or 3 full blown armies from that war horn (going over the unit limits that we normally have) gather together and rush your base. It's impossible to defend against and is in no way fair :/

Wtf is with enemy sudden charges. I get to their castle, almost destroy it, and a massive army charges me. Can't say I like that.

Rembrant the Bloody hell is too serious about building "ancient" family dynasty which leads him to completely ignore the advance in mana technology. He uses so little mana to support the army (2600) even less than before the events of the Holy Wars (Epic war 2)

epic war two was better. you had control over how many units you wanted to send out, and in this one its zoomed in so the battle looks smaller and less epic contrary to the title. i played the first and second games before the rest had even been made and i hope 4 and 5 are better.

Man, you'd think these great heroes would know enough about battle tactics not to overcommit to their attacks. Come on, dude. When I say fall back I mean like NOW, not after your 10-minute sword slash animation.

Very good game, if there is ever a fourth one, you need to fix the fact that troops advance when enemy troops are nearby, we need to be able to post our soldiers somewhere and be confident that they wont move past your commands + if you agree

An enemy you say?! Why let me just point my sword up at the sky, now towards my foe, now aim it behind myself, now back at the sky, now back at my foe, then start the swing... hmm, he's gone you say?

I have a nice idea, but I highly doubt it will even be considered. After each upgrade of Units and Heroes, their appearance should change slightly, Goblins got a little more beefy, then maybe a little slower. For Mad Bulls maybe their weapon could change slightly, from a wooden hammer to an iron hammer, and so on. Who thinks this would be a nice little addition to this already great game?

Cave #5
Spells:Athena, Phoenix, Hercules, Comet and Healing spell. Troops: Centaurs, Succubus, Mermaids, Witches, goblins and the black knight keep this commnet alive by copy pasting it but since I had Grullborg Grimtooth I had enough mana to replace goblins and black knights by frost giant and dragon rider + i had the lightning bolt card extra it worked out just fine

I usually put my hero out to tank any soldiers, then bring him back and let the rest of my army take care of the other hero

Tag team badge: first finish a campaign do NOT start another normal one because you will wipe your progress, instead start a new game plus with a different character and win that campaign too.

i will always love this game i started playing this bout 10 or 11 years ago in jr.high and highschool....i like how they did things but one thing i didnt like was the fact that there is no speed up button....that would have made this game better
