dude this is stupid, the other two were some of the best games ever, but this sucks, why does the enemy hero come back after he dies when yours cant

there are no arrows but spells insted, i like it better because i can focus on my ppl more and less on aiming, and it herts to hold the shoot butons and play

@Kaithan: those aren't heroes, they're high level units.
@tbearboy: every last level comes with a final boss that is a pain in the $$.

what the heck, owned enemy in the first battle (castle almost destroyed), suddenly he summons a huge army and blasts even my hero away with just a few hits

Completed cave of trials 5 - reward is zeus' wrath spell.. No real tactic, all I did was use all the strong melee units (black knight, frost giant, dragon rider, and taurus warrior.) Backed them up with the witch and mermaid as ranged units. Used all the spells except healing wave and freezing trap.
Takes a few goes but you have to get enough knockback on the goblin to give you enough time to destroy the castle.
Use hercules strength when all your units can attack the enemies castle. use all other spells to knockback the ghost goblin and keep all the other spawns under wraps.
Anyway.. I'm still missing the top right spell,(spell 5 on the top row). I've done all the heroes campaigns and still don't have it. Can anyone tell me what it is - if they have it.

i just let mah troops pile up and when i have about 7 goblins i shoot a comet at the enemy hero and he comes running, i send mah centuars and goblins after him then when he has a bit lower hp i send mah hero after him

I absolutely hate this game! I had to check to make sure it was in the series I had loved before. It's so horrible that I would rather replay the other two games 5000 times in a row.

did I miss a difficulty lever? Enemy heroes respawn, they have at least (!) twice as many units, a strange girl shoots green fireballs and then there is the respwaning axeman about as strong as my heroe. And I'm supposed to fight that with goblins and zombies? Worst thing I've seen...

First battle is a bit hard. I had to run my centaurs back whenever my zombies were almost dead and wait for reinforcements. And for enemy hero respawning, it didn't happen to me yet. Maybe you're wrong and they're just enemy units... those tier 2 units that I thought they were secondary heroes until I got one of them ( <3 yettis ).

what you have to understand is that when the enemy comes at you with the totally unfair counter attack force of like 400 guys that totally kill everything you have, is that you have several very powerful spells which kill the enemies really easily.

How the hizzle am I supposed to defend myself when all my units have been raped? if this was a stand alone game from the previous epic war's... or even just a beta... I'td be okay... but just because it lets down the whole series and the first and last levels are just gay'ey hard and the reliance on achievements is a bit queer...

It's like you took everything that made the last games suck, distilled it, and put released it in the form of a trading card game.

if u afraid to hit the enemy castle it bc you didn't take a good selection of card u need ranged unit high hp melee unit and a powerful spell to help kill the low hp castle respawn

i like this one but i like the older ones better, i preferred being able to use all my units, i would have really enjoyed that if you beat the game you could use all the units and spells at the same time. that would be cool and bringing back the shooter and having upgrades for it too would be really cool. i gave it a 4/5 simply because it doesn't really follow the first two's game play. this has some cool features though, like placing yoru units, that was pretty cool.
