Good game, the only complaint I have is that when you play your first battle and get that big wall-of-text explaining how to play, the battle isn't paused, meaning I can't command my troops because I'm reading.

I'd have to say the "revenge wave" IS pretty unfair, since you can't use the heal that much in the first place, and they get to send out their max of everything all in one shot, while you're still getting pieces of your army back, and they're all being lazy asses and standing around playing with themself until you tell them to move forward. You can keep the heal, I'll take the constantly charging forward at my command army that I get maxed out units on if the enemy gets too close.

i've been working my ass off trying to get the hard badge today for two hours, and i save after i completed the last one. I didn't get a badge... Hard not to be angry at this

The game is far too easy. There is only one complaint I have that I see has been echoed across the board. Sometime when you are calling you hero back he doesn't come back for quite a while which results in a dead hero and an unhappy player. If that could be fixed up this would be much better. Though you might have to up the difficulty to make up for those kind of glitches being repaired.

OMG! In cave 5 there's a invincible stealth goblin that kill ANY monster with one hit! There's really some way to win this battle?

this is the first game of the epic war series, and i found it extremely boring. I tried to make it through the first battle, but if every battle takes so much time, I don't bother to play it.

@dart776 Normally, after every 1/4 of health you knock off the castle, the enemies counterattack. You need to plan for that. If you take off half at one go, you get to face off two enemy waves at once. Either overwhelm them, use a spell (like the invulnerable one) or have your long range troops/Hero pull back so they can survive.

How come when i'm in the middle of attacking the guys castle and its almost dead, the entire population of earth shows up to stop me. I call Bull, this game can diaf.

when your battleing and your capitan is nealy dead and you say come back it doesn't it waits there then comes back but by the time then he is already dead

I don't ever Favorite a game, I do rate games though... This one... was a favorite.. I know I know, unheard of. The concept is so crisp, the cute graphics, the different characters was so wonderful. I enjoy the "Card to Monster" concept very much. I would actually pay monthly to play and ENLARGED version of this, that is how good it is. 7/5 (not possible, but it just happened)

@zeig101 and new players : To get all the cards you must use all the characters and raise their levels to 30, after that, use grullbrog grimtooth to win the cave of trails (he is the best character is terms of mana) cave of trails give: fire demon, blue dragon, earth dragon, the end and beserker, in that order, have a nice gaming ^^

okay THIS IS IMPORTANT ! ! ! ! once you JUST FINISHED A CAMPAIGN make sure you DON'T START A NEW GAME IMMEDIATELY but hit CONTINUE INSTEAD!! this way you get to spend that massive amount of money you made in the campaign's final battle which is ~500.000! hit + to let more people know

Hints for cave of trial + last battles: first of all, GOBLINS, next COMET!!!! these are you main quick attacks, next, medium weight stuff: Succubus, PHOENIX (this is THE EPIC SPELL) ice giant/ dragon rider Hercules Strength, now hardcore: Any of the elemental titans (if possessed) or waves and waves of crystals. /// When the enemy castle goes 75%, 50% and 25% hp (this is guessable) retreat and cast phoenix, (if possible = NEVER SEND ANYTHING BUT GOBLINS UNTIL THE FIRST 25% CASTLE HP!!!but cast spells, of course) Ok then, after that, cast hercules strength whenever you hit the percentages. If the enemy HAS an elemental titan, retreat, keep using only ranged stuff until hercules+pheonix are avaliable (simultaneously) after killing the big guy, hit the castle with everything you have, good luck, soldier!

the cave chalenges are to hard because when u get a wave of units from when u hit the base a big monster hing comes and 100+ troops, but theres a good reason to have e'hem hey get u tons of money/exp

good tip: if you want money towards the start, u can keep some dwarfs and archers, both lv. 3, at the front of ur castle ad keep em' there, you kee killen em' all. if u have any other long-range units, use them too. rate up sp others see.

Why does the archers hit your guys when they are behind your castle, if they get enough they just spawn kill you and you auto loss.....
