You can unlock caves of trial by beating the game once, but i subjest beating 2 or 3 of the hero's campaigns. No you don't really need to use the light blue or green guys, it's best to use them last but it really doesn't matter, my army for caves of trial(well the best ones i've made) comes up to 2850 mana which any hero can have.

Alright I was digging this game. Finished one hero campaign; saved and the whole lot and I come back to finish a second for the badge and it's deleted all my progress. Claims I haven't finished the one hero camp. Seems like a big bug but loved the game other than that.

I don't know what to do. I looked at the walkthrough by Tasselfoot, and he said he recommends the light blue (Gald the Conquerer) or the green (Grullborg Grimtooth) and I am using red (Viegraff) and don't want to start again. Can anyone help me? Thanks!! P.S: Sorry about the language...

Tip:- Use Mermaids and Magic Cannons. Keep all of then near the goblin. They will keep him busy and meanwhile let your other units escape.

wow, everyone and the revenge waves....
alright guys, here it is, without revenge waves, lets face it, you would probably kill the castle within a few mins, now then, with the enemy spawning 150 units while you are in the middle of killing their castle adds stratagy to the game, like using athena's protection spell just then so they dont rape you, or using meteor on them to blow them up, its all strategy, i can easily beat everything on this game besides the Cave of Trials, those require a great deal of strategy, as they have bosses and even great #'s of enemies

tip on revenge wave or wat ever run away so it would be easier to get more exp and money more exp means more mana more money means more upgrades simple as tat

This game is simple for some, hard for others, For people who are trying for the first time, good work, it only takes a small amount of thought to start rolling. People who say this is too easy, how long have you been playing?
Please be kind to the new people. The revenge waves are to compensate for the enemy not being able to use skills, so we cant remove that nor can we balance out the ai, the revenge way was great idea for me and added a little more stratagy.

all you have to do is retreat all your troops till you have them all...but keep the main guy in front to protect...once you have them all use a magig to attack the enemies leader then charge all your guy in to finish the castle off

ungh... like any person i don't like revenge waves but they are crucial to the game. without them the game would be so easy an army of goblins would be able to beat every level other than the cot's. But i do think that instead using revenge waves, i think the AI should be a little more balanced. otherwise 5 stars.

can you make it so enemy units cant run past your units??
cause in the 5th cave, that invisible goblin guy somehow gets past all of my units(maybe 30 units), and kills my castle in 1 hit, and there is nothing i can do about it, cause my guys cant attack him while running back....

Heh, honestly; this game doesn't quite match up with EW2. Way to easy, I suppose the only + over EW2 was less button mashing. Make it more challenging in the next version Rudy!

This game is so easy lol.
For those noobs who complain about the "revenge waves", please. If you can't deal with it, retreat, regroup and re-strike. I mean doing it 3 times isn't too much, right?
And you can always use spells like frost shards to freeze the enemy while you attack the castle. But only do this if you're very sure you can destroy the castle before the units come back to attack you.

Scar Tissue is also right, that without revenge strike, the game would be SOOO easy, so remember, make it so there is a limit to enemy strikes, and it can recharge over time, so make it strat with 3 strikes, and when all are used, then there must be a certain period to wait before it can be used again, like a couple of mins, thnx

I thought of a feature that would be highly enjoyable for people who play this more regularly (going for 100% completion). "Saved Hands" where you can save presets for your Deck Hands. I keep my different card combinations written down. Just a thought.

I agree with deamonchild, that revenge waves shouldn't go over 5 for the enemy, or maybe, put a timer on them, so like, you have maybe a limit of 3 for the enemy, and it recharges after a few mins or so
