Yeah, to agree with macattack, I don't like how, even if you're not owning them, they throw out around a hundred or more superstrong units, just out of thin air.
If you can update it into the game, either allow us to have reserve troops such as that, or only allow the AI to throw out only enough troops to make it an equal fight. (Example, you're hero-less, and you have 50 average units (such as the starting ones, or the ones recieved close after) and 10 good ones. (such as yetis), and the AI has only a small trickle of 5 average. Instead of them suddenly launching a couple dozen yeti's and horsemen at you, just 55 average (to make it 60) and 10 good (to make it, well, 10)). So, only allow the reserve to be equal to the amount of enemy troops on the field, and, if you can, make it so they can only be deployed in a critical situation. (such as, you're outnumbered 3 to 1 and they're at your doorstep)

keep aliveCOT5 GUIDE, It was pretty easy, I just used Centaur,Mermaid,Witch,Dwarf Engineer, Taurus, and Goblin. For Skill Cards I used Comet Shoot,Freeze Trap,Phoenix Strike,Athena Protection,Hercules Strength and Lightning Bolt.1)When you start the match wait at your castle until you have reached max population.2)once you have max pop. use the comet to kill the bombers in the middle and charge,and once you charge your soldiers send the phoenix strike so the goblin won't go attacking u. 3)Then use the freeze trap to stop him from moving 4)Then use the thunderbolt to stun him again so ur army has time to reach the castle 5)Once ur army reaches the castle use Athena protection,and Hercules Strength so u can take out the castle quickly. Hopefully This Will Help Someone THIS REALLY WORKS, PLEASE KEEP IT ALIVE

i think its super gay how when you get close to your enemies castle they get about 112 extra units on the spot...but great game anyway!

This is THE BEST game in this serial. I know lots of you would like to nail me to the cross and torture me because I said that, but it`s true. I completed whole campaign with ALL heroes. I suggest to do that, so you`ll get some cards before going on Cave trials. I completed only Cave 1 and 2 so far, but it is great. It`s important to have nice amount of units on battleground, and more important is not allow enemy to spam his units only near castle. If that happens, when you come there, he`ll just crush you. First, make sure you ALWAYS have Phoenix Strike spell. Useful card. Anyway, this is epic game. It isn`t laggy to me (I have new computer :P) and I really enjoy it. 5/5.

can anyone tell me why my mana is always less than 3000 and it just stop increasing. i can't equip all the cards because of this..

DAM!, this game were real fun!, last lvl gave me creeps :S.. My tactics:
save all troups in the beginning till you get like.. 30-40 troups, send a meteor on enemy hero, retreat till hes close then unleash all your troups, wich takes downn enemy hero in secs.. then just raid and beat the lvl! xD

i dont know... all i have IS majic cannons, subixes, and other things, its so that my enemyds are in the air and cant get u, plus the units comming will kill the ones behind u

This games concept is great!The action is fun,its to easy for just a short period of time,BUT it aint perfect!It takes for ever to do everything,so its basicaly an endurance game

the first hero you should play as is viagraff the red because i used him to win the first time and since then its been fun and games and no one gets hurt

Finally beat all the caves... The fifth one was nearly lost, because the goblin had launched over my main squad and was RIGHT NEXT TO MY BASE when the main force destroyed the enemy castle... PHEW!

I am stuck on cave 5. The goblin keeps walking through my units or getting knocked over them by my special attacks, succubi, or tanks. Then he just goes and kills my castle before my units kill his. I'm using all the same units as in the walkthrough too, but he keeps getting by.

natureguy i had the same problem to, it happens alot but sometimes it doesnt happen, i used the same units 4 times the first 3 times the goblin got through but using the samr guys on the 4th time it worked. you just have to be persistent it works just not all the time.

for cave 5 use loads of people who attack fast, like dwarves, goblin, etc. and don't use things that explode because he'll get behind you

dude! fire succubus and phenoxies are the best cards in the game. they do massive damage. these are the cards i use to witn the game- fire succubus, phoenix, damn i cant remember the others....

My main problem is that when I play red hero (as advised in walkthrough), the only castle I can attack at first already has a succubus/demon at it.

what a bore. I just got done beating the normal game 1 time. There's a few hours of my life I'll never get back. Rush the castle, use spells, hit the castle, retreat when the horn sounds, kill the revenge wave and heal, rush the castle again... mindless. I never was close to losing a a game and never had to vary my strategy. This is the kind of game that 'UPGRADE COMPLETE!' is making fun of. Nothing to see here.
