And I hate to spam, but to answer a common question: I think each time you do new game+, your hero starts with less mana. But he will end up with MORE mana by the time he reaches level 30. That's probably to balance out the fact that when you start a new game+ your basic units are already leveled up and thus more powerful. So by forcing you to carry fewer cards at first it makes the early game slightly less of a cakewalk (but still a cakewalk).

Hm . . . my enemies all have casters with knockaway abilities that interrupt my hero unit's attacks, and I don't. First time through, it was easy as hell once I got the same knockback units.
In other words, this mass knockback stuff really unbalances the game, especially if the player has no way to counter (playing a hero who started with potions instead of fireballs, so I can't pick off the casters at all)

kinda repetitive and boring, 3.5/5, thinking wether closer to 4 or 3.

imo the best set is: goblin, taurus, knight, succubus, witch and cannon paired with heal, comet, hercules, lightning and phoenix. just launch a phoenix and charge = caves done in no time

Um...this game didn't steal from WoW. This game, WoW, and almost every other fantasy franchise out there stole from Tolkien. But do you see all the Tolkien fanboys crying about it?

Sure, the computer has vastly more units than you, but you have spells. Not that it matters, since you can win without spells. The game is easy, and if the computer didn't have mass units it wouldn't even be worth a glance. I hope future installments concentrate more on strategy and even A.I. terms than brute force.

What the hell? Played the same map again and now the enemy has 100 instant units from nowhere! It's the second I start getting near their base. :/

This is how you finish the fifth cave of trials it worked for me first try. 1. Make sure you are Grullborg Grimtooth level 30. 2.Equip the witch, mermaid, centaur, goblin, and black knight for the first deck. 3. Equip the comet strike, Athena protection, phoenix strike, ice trap, double strength, and health in skills deck. 4. When you start keep your hero between your castle and where the enemies bombers are. 5. Keep your hero there until you have all your units. Make SURE you don't attack the super goblin, he will stay where he is if he isn't attacked. 6. When you have all your units at your castle and all you skill cards charged then charge. REMINDERS: don't attack the super goblin until you have all your units, use comet strike on the bombers spot, and go to youtube.com and type in Epic War 3 cave of trial 5 and watch runes video if confused. Copy paste so everyone knows!

If the counterattacks are the huge waves of enemies that come after the horn, then I can't undestand why do you hate them?? It's so freakin' awesome to cast all of your most powerful massdestruction-spells on that big bunch and watch them fly all around with blood spilling everywhere and your troops are marching on the red carpet of blood. Just so awesome, 5/5.

WTF ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE RACES FROM WORLD OF WARCRAFT, the first one is a blood elf, then there's a human, a dwarf, a draenei, a night elf and an orc! THEY'RE EXACTLY THE SAME WITH DIFFERENT HAIR COLOR! XDDDDD

wth.. the mana gets lower and lower after each time i complete the game :S ... it's gonna be real damn hard when i am at the last hero:( completed the game (not caves) 3times :D
