there are 2 kinds of people complainting about how bad the game is: people who play 1 battle, and think they'll never win, and people who actually finish the game, and see how fing easy it really is. guys, just shut up and play the game, and if you don't like it, don't play it!

its an okay game but i lost my saved stufff and it is realy easy if you plan halfway descient and you realy dnt need the hero

Oh yeah, and keep in mind you still get money/xp when you lose a fight; so don't think you have to win every single one, especially early on. Losing a defense will cost you, but losing on attack doesn't mean much.

its ok but its not epic war in epic war u didn't use cards u used an arrow tower which u can upgrade u actually had mana to use and units that use mana to summon with and this has nothing to do with the storyline of epic war 1 and 2. SO PLZ CHANGE THE TITLE!!!

A lot of people have commented on the counter-attacks that occur as you damage the enemy castle. Simply put: use some tactics. Early on, when my army wasn't great, I did this: I had only zombies and centaurs attacking castle, while hero, minotaurs, and frost giants waited nearby. Soon as the counter-attack hit, centaurs retreated, and the rest of the army beat up on the counter-attack. You can also use Skill cards; Frost Trap and Lightning Bolt can decimate counter attacks, and the x2 damage + invincibility cards let you power through a counter-attack without caring.

GREAT tip, once u get sapper bomb (or even a 3rd unit card), zerg the castle hard once its near 50%. That is, if ur 11/14 wait till 14, then hit hard. Also, try a character with the heal spell, saves u a lot of time and u don't have to wait till units respawn. Also...now if you kill a castle just as they enemy zergs ur ass, u get money as if you killed each unit! I got 25k gold in about 5 seconds this way.

I like it. Unexpectedly addicting. Haven't tried out the titan units yet, but they look nasty. The "cards" thing and the auto-spawn work well enough, as does the "new game plus" feature. You should probably fix the typo when your castle gets attacked though, when you get around to it.

OK, stop complaining that you suck at this game. First, pick the first guy. When you get the Phionex, upgrade it. Also upgrade the cannon and the flying women things.THERE IS LAG BECAUSE OVER 100 THINGs ARE ON THE SCREEN AT ONCE, STOP COMPLAINING!!! If you have a hard time at this, dont complain anr rate 1! I don't understand all these comments, this game is absurdly easy. Like, I lost my hero in the first battle due to a dumb mistake and still beat it handily and have never gotten close to losing my hero or having my castle hit since.

CPU is not playing fair and this makes the game unbalanced and frustrating. 1/5 for now... hopefully the gameplay issues will be fixed.

2/5 mainly coz units didn't listen uless i spam clicked. theres not much variation other than upgrading cards which you dont really get that often. and one big thing in a single battle. i've almost gotten the enemy castle down to no health, then out comes 70 units, 3 of them appearing to be hero units (gorilla x2 and knight) which just rolls my army

Ahh well its rather easy though. A revenge wave evry 25% or so. After a short retreat/regroup you should be able to fight of the fast enemys first. A tough one is if you happen to drop the castle to below 25% on your first attack =P, then you'll prolly get swarmed .

ok, wth. one thing you should always keep in mind. make atleast the first battle easy. it doesn't have to be un-losable, just a cake walk... jeez this is ticking me off...

i'm still waiting for some new cards at level 5atm... its also pretty retarded that projectiles will continue to fly until they hit something... not to mention, if your attack on an enemy fails, your troops will get rolled even if you retreat.

Im sick of the entire army charging forward.... Even if you tell them to go back to the start like twice a second, they just run a tiny bit back then turn around and charge at the enemies again

3/5. Nice game, nice indeed. The animation style an artwork is amazing, truely amazing. Graphically, I think this is one of the best games out there on Kong. Combat style is an interesting concept, and definately works. After a few battles though, I found it a tad tedious. It's the same tactic over an over again with the same responce from the AI, a spam of units in a counter-attack. In-game instructions are sub-par, leaves a lot to be desired. The card system is nice, a good touch to the overall game style. Overall I'm impressed at a good game, just left wanting more.

I actually like this one better than the first two. This broke the monotony of the first two. Different is sometimes good. I like the cards and leveling up thing. I got sick of shooting arrows in the first two. if you are going to put arrows in #4, please put an auto fire function on the arrows. I don't like having to put something heavy on the keyboard so my arrows fire constantly.

actually, now the game is okay. the only way i would improve is if you brutally murder your opponent, you should get more money. ive only lost once and ive found im not getting enough money. 4/5

Ok so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and had another shot, it's not too bad once you get further into it, not as good as the first two, good but not great.
