i still miss it arrows....and my hero still fights when i send him to heal...but other than that i revise my initial score from a 12 out of 46 to a pleasant 16 out of 16=3 yatta=3 now make number 4 X3

the most unfair AI advantage ever. Why does he have so many more cards than me? I have 2, and the computer seems to have 6. And theres a lot to be said for just forcing new troops up to where the others are. I don't want to have to do it manually, thanks.

At least the instructions are pretty good apart from the fact that in your first battle you're attacked while you're reading the actual instructions... But how the hell do you get new cards? I started out as 'Trevouz de Revierre' or something (starts in upper right of the screen); I'm now level 4, destroyed 1 opponent and conquered a total of three cities without getting a single card. Am I missing something here? One more thing: the let's-send-100-units-in-1-second-and-obliterate-the-opponent-strategy must GO!

the computer still cheats as annoyingly as before, control of your hero is rather clumsy. kind of a pity, could have gotten more than just 2/5

now that is ridiculous. The first 7 or so phases, i cope with, expand a bit, upgrade some and so forth. get attcked by a guy with one territory left, and he completely pwns me with bout dozen axe guys on horseback, and more units spammed in 5 seconds then i can get over the whole battle. even the playing field a bit. please.

first battles r easy
just fight your best on first 1,lose, then upgrade weaker monster card. You then just put your hero in front until u reach max population with other monsters then storm them

why the fuzck do i loose every single FU&%$%$ map???????????
i get to the castle of the enemy and then he spawns a hero i already killed and he rapes the f$%k out of me!!! every TIME!!!!!!!

Trust me when I say that no element of luck can stop enemies which are individually about as strong as the titan that is supposed to be the actual challenge in the last level.

This game makes use of the same foolishness the other games did: enemy castle responds to attack by generating a ton of units all at the same time, which then zerg you.
Oddly enough, the hardest battles are the first one and the last one - all the others are generally easy. For those having trouble - choose orange as your player, you start with the comet card and you are adjacent to two enemies which do not use archers. Use your comets on enemy spellcasters.
As for the last battle, I can't do it with all my cards at level 5 - I assume there must be an element of luck involved in getting the right cards or I'm damaging the castle too fast when I get there.

this game is mediocre. I liked epic war, hated epic war 2. It's not so hard if you read the instructions (the kongregate insturctions)

OK, call me crazy, but I don't think that the first few battles you play should be crushing, demoralising defeats. Kinda makes me wanna stop playing.

Okay, I don't give a crap what you're saying about the tactics. I held all my ranged units in the proper position, all my melee units were in full force except for the hero unit since I know he gets mauled by surprise waves, and I had a super meteor loaded in the stocks.
After the triple wave of dark knights, none of the melee units could withstand the sheer, rolling tsunami of axe blades whirling forwards. The ranged units could not put a dent in them, the cannons would just scatter the horsemen into my forces and cause them to get too close to my ranged units, they hardly took any damage at all from the cannons, and when I used my super meteor on them, I scored a perfect hit on the whole lot and NONE OF THEM DIED. They just dusted their coats and began attacking again.
Where does the strategy part of this come into play?

LUV THEM ALL 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/5 FOR ALL 3

Woah, learning curve = what? I was attacked while reading the tutorial dialog box, then got my guys up to the opposition castle, thought I was doing pretty good, when out of nowhere, a (second?) enemy hero (guy on a horse?) and far, far more creatures than I was able to have at one time poured out and totally destroyed me.

Got rid of a lot of things that made the first 2 parts annoying to play. Definitely a big step forward from the first 2 games. And it runs surprisingly smooth on the old laptop I'm using :)

crappy compared to the other 2.
really hard to control your forces, even tho its a good feature; it's WAY too easy once u realize you should save a few troops and spells for the big waves. It also gets boring faster than the other 2. Even though the arrows were too strong in the other games, they made them much more fun. The heroes are a good idea but it makes sense that the spell damage would increase as the hero's experience increases rather than being upgraded with money

the commanding-unit function is a bit laggy, my hero has died twice just because of the late response, otherwise a great game

i dont see any strategy unless you can have more than 9 cards at lvl 30 i have about 2600 MP and only using 1246 of it.. and i am at max lvl .
Lets say its a BETA 5/5 . Lets say finished 2/5

I'd just like to say that once again, I wish that you'd actually check to see if your game was actually winnable for every single campaign character before you decided to release it as is.

wow dude ive been waiting so long for this game to come out then all i got was a gray screen... screw that i hit refresh like 50 times until i got a loading screen 5/5 man

Okay, I'm at max level. All of my abilities save for the final level of meteor shower (which I'm pretty sure you never expected anybody to reach seeing as it costs 1 million 6 hundred thousand gold).
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIGHT 20 DARK KNIGHTS BACKED UP BY THE SAME AMOUNT OF ARCHERS, BOTH OF WHICH CAN WITHSTAND 10 SEPARATE SHOTS OF METEORS AND CANNONS?!!?!
