I just used ranged units and damage spells to beat cave 5. Dwarf, phantom armor, cannon, succubus, mermaid, witch. Comet, lightning, freeze, meteor, and the obligatory heal + invincibility. Just keep pushing the goblins (and the invincible one) back and they won't be able to touch you.

Ok...... I find those crystal things kind of rigged for a normal, medium spawn unit, I mean really, it has like 50000 health.(or seems like it, at the least)

Finally it took me 2 days just to pass this badge this is twice as hard as Epic 2 I'm glad I give this game a try give this game a 4.5/5 good enough to be a 5 You Can Hide, but You Can't Run Badge hopefully I get the free poster :D You acquired this badge on Jun. 26, 2009

good combo to beat 5th cave: black knight, phantom armor, fire succubus, dragon rider, mermaid and frost giant, with comet shoot, phoenix and hercule's strength.

the commands in this game blow... they don't go where you want them to go for like 8 seconds and this results in my champ dying repeatedly

so yeah you dont need to max out every card and use 5 ranged guys and all that nonsense. its actually much easier than all that.

ok i just beat cave 5 having only played through once as the red general, then beat it while playing the blue - just invincible at the castle and the goblin blows over your army, then he just attacks one goblin at a time walking towards your end, its enough time to blow up the castle and win. only used one freeze spell at begining (level 3) and one invincible spell (level 3). crazy
