All because a petition caused epic war to turn into modern war, causing it to be a different game, therefore a different, expiremental experience, causing the ratings to plummet, so it is exactly like every other unnoticable game on the planet. And for those of you who say we shouldnt double, triple, or quadruple comment, this is my 23rd comment. Yesterday (who knows what page it is on know) someone posted 3 pages in a row with only 3 comments in between. Thats 30 comments, so…

There is only one game that i can think of that is similar to this. Age of War. Only you don't control the people/machines. You just buy them and watch as they destroy or get destroyed. Also, you cannot control the turrets as you can the crossbow in EW1 and EW2. If every game on this site was a sniper game (Like the Tactical Asassin Series) then you would either a)Get good at them or b) get sick of them. If a) happened then they would have to make the badges harder (Supply and Demand) then all the new, not so nerdy at sniper games players wouldn't be able to get any badges or level. Therefore everybody is either lvl 20 or lvl 1. Then all of the lvl 1's would leave and the people on kongregate would plummet, causing catastrophe. If b) happened then EVERYBODY would leave to find a not-so-boring site, causing the people on kongregate to plummet, ultimatly causing catastrophe.

For this a change is appreciated, at least by me. And for all of you who are saying it should be modern war, i believe you are certifiably in need of psychiatric attention. What would modern war add? Everybody would be the equivalent of either a centaur, mermaid, or magic cannon. What would demons be? If everyone just sits 100 yards away from each other, you can't tell them to retreat, because they will be shot, they wouldn't need to move forward, so basically at the menu you would just buy and upgrade snipers and then when they come you watch. Nobody melees in modern worlds. If this was modern then it would start to look alot like every other game on kongregate. The reason games like this are so popular is because they are different. Sonny is one of the most popular games on this site because as oppossed to fighting zombies, you are a zombie.

This comment is so long i have to post it in multiple parts. Here is how to absolutely destroy a revenge wave instantly. Use the 100 crit thing. Then either use lightning strike, frost, or pheonix. Note:id you use pheonix you must use pheonix first or it wont cover all of it. I like this one because it is different. As opposed to being a race vs race thing it is a leader so you can have the same units. Also, without the crossbow you are almost level with your opponent, adding an extra challenge. If all the sequals were the same concept you could just alter the storyline, up the graphics and add a few extra features and be done much quicker. If all the develepors like Rudy_Sudarto did that, we would have epic war 8, sonny 12, gemcraft 29, so on so forth.

i didnt do anything to gor urg then he summons that bird dragon thing and a revenge wave at the same time so i lost instantly

i like the skill progression and skill idea for this 1 to me 2 was TERRIBLE but 1 was fun :D
oh and to those people who are wanting modern war it won't happen because epic war is fantasy,castles,and magic

Great game, it irks me a bit that it never says "you just got a new card, you should go equip it now..." You have to manually check after almost every round :/

ther is a mute button press options during a battle. the pheonix is way overpowered it can own anything and 100 secs isnt that long. The only problem is if succubus's/bombermen/magic cannons/earth demon blow things up in the air it misses them. I find comet very halpful because you can use it on their boss in the beginning mixed with rain of arrows and a few units and hes dead. I find the attack of the fire demon much more efficient then the other demons. I never realized how awsome tauren are because they are strong, have a lot of health, and you can get 20.

If your are being destroy by the revenge waves is best for you to retreat, regroup, and use your zombies as a distraction to slow down the enemy

Congratulations! You just won the You Can Hide, but You Can't Run Badge and 30 points! third try he got 2 my castle but i pushed him back i had yeti, black knight, dragon rider, centaur, mermaid, goblin, all lvl 5, and health potion, frost thing, lightning bolt, pheonix strike, hercules strength and comet strike. Use strength on castle and comet strike on that layer of bombermen he lays out. save frost for that wave of bombermen and have goblins/mermaids defend castle. No bombermen/magic cannons/succubus because they will blow the goblin closer to your castle. I was Skullborg Grimtooth, lvl 30, and I have done Gald and Viegraff.
