I think these are the must haves to beat Cave 5.Spells:Athena, Phoenix, Hercules, and Comet(can add healing spell if wanted). Troops: Centaurs, Succubus, Mermaids, Witches, goblins, (last one is your choice)

My lineup is all red except canon instead of fire lord. And Meteor, arrow, pheonix, heal, and hercules were my spellcards and everything was maxed

tip for counter attack, when they come run back to base the attack them bit by bit attack retreat attack retreat till u think u can make a full front out attack . aslo dont ever do an all out assult after u went back to base ull get massacred, trust me i tryed it

We have regeneration and skill cards, but they have Revenge Waves, Counterattacks, more units, and a higher max. number of certain units.

zacktack thats called a *counter-wave* and u should really be able to handle it dude.
p.s they arent the best ones they are random units selected from the comps roster.
pps cave 5 is quite annoying 0=

this game absolutley sucks they can have zero guys with no base health and boom they have 80 guys all the hard ones too dont play it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

pl4inl4zy, the best you can do is keep playing the game, leveling up everything you got, then assemble a balanced army.
Also, using spell cards become very important further in the game.

Haha completed my 1st Hero Cam'pain', after that is just random slaughter untill the last castle if you use the same cards as before, just watch your mana.
I'm using my Dragon Knights from before, they can't even touch them on the first 3/4 castles.

I loved epic war 2 even though I failed so badly at it..(first badge only died at 13th level)I also love This version it does need a story line though and maybe a button which makes your spawned units move forward automatically? Epic war 1 I think is basically like epic war 2 but a bit worse graphics but still good. Keep up the great work on all the Epic War series.Hope epic war is gonna be better then all of 'em combined! >:D

on epic war 1 you reclaim your lands from orcs, on epic war 2 you get rid of the darkness, but here on epic war 3 all you do is take over places again and and again. no story line whatesoever

wow you guys are big noobs. just cause epic war 2 dosent have the retreat tool or magic and everything isnt a simple card dosent mean you have to hate it. ew 2 is better than ew 3. the only reason you think ew 2 stinks is because you to big of a noob to play it.

Just saying if an enemy is frozen and you launch a fire attack it should do more damge but other than that I love this game been playing it for years
