Don't know why people are hating on this. The change in formula is nice, imo. If everything was the same, people would be complaining because it just has updated graphics and no new gameplay. I like it.

It would have been better if you gave this game another title. This isn't Epic war anymore...
Its not a bad game but it is much worse then Epic War 2!

as much as i love EW 1 and 2, i don't really like this, i definitely miss the turret, which pretty much MADE the first two games.

Does ANYBODY know how you get new cards? Is it random, based on experience, based on who you battle, based on available gold, what?

epic war 2 was much better. this game was waaaaay too easy all you have to do is send in your hero right away to hold them up while ur other ppl are being trained or w/e. then take ur hero back to regroup and send in all your other guys. then send a comet thing at their hero once you've gotten their guys beat back a little, and once their hero attacks your minions, send in your hero and take out theirs, keep sending in your guys and take back your hero to regroup and once he has just send in everything over and over. easy.

DUDE It dusnt rly suck that bad. but i wishi i could actualy win.. and they got TWO heroes! i mean seriously... unfair and also we cant choose our troops?

It still has that weird rush when you get the enemy castle to about half it's hitpoints. It's stupid that the enemy can spawn about every unit at it's max amount at once.

Honestly, This is worst game I've played in a long time :\ it's horrifically unfair in the first few levels, and it completely ruins the series... Cards? CARDS!? I HATE CARD GAMES! Epic War is a game where you pointlessly spam waves of tiny minions at a **** off huge castle with 7 digit health. NOT collecting cards that you level up and auto spawn after a set time... :\ 1/5.

this one kinda sucks, not very good graphics, no bow, not very much user controlled action, cards? i dont know, i liked the first 2, i think the third one should be similar to them

Wow, great game, but it seems impossible to beat Cave of Trials 5, the special goblin literally wipes my entire army, I mean how can you stop something that runs fast, 999999 area damage and has so much hp that it seems hard to but a scratch on it?

This is the best in the series. I just played through the entire first new game, when this doesn't have badges (yet) and without getting bored. The best tactic is to send your hero forward to hold the line at first, then lure their hero out ( a well-placed fireball works) then wait till your army is as big as it gets before attacking.
