Seriously guys, CoT 5 was not even hard at all but CoT 4 was! Dude, there was 4 titans running at me at the same time!! For CoT 5, just use mermaid, Invincible and most of the other things must be ranged attack and just use maybe 1 or 2 melee fighters and also remember to use the freen orc! he has 3500 mana!!! keep it alive!!!!!!

Very fun, most strategy games are too easy for me but this one was an incredible challenge! It was totally worth the way everything seems to... move a little slowly for my tastes, to be honest.

How the hell am I supposed to beat the 5th cave? I mean, there's a ghost goblin that does a f***ing huge damage, and is incredibly fast!

For the 5th COT I used Tarus,Goblins,Dwarf, Dryad,Succy and Ghost Armor. Spells I used Lightning, Freeze, Phoenix,Heal(Wasn't that useful), Invincible and Strength
Wait for a full army and take out the guys in the middle. Move your army about 3/4ths the way across then throw the phoenix out. This should get the ghost moving, then the moment it gets close, throw an ice, followed by a thunder. Then invincible and wait until your guys push him back to the castle for the strength. Even after invincible wore off, the goblin only got one strike off with all the hits interrupting his attacks.

For the fifth cot IMPORTANT use lvl 30 orc guy and bring your best things muust bring mermaid pheonix strike the lightning stun thing and the ice trap everything else the strongest you have

Yeah, even though I've only completed one hero campaign, I'd definitely say that I like this one better than the other two. I miss the good ol' wall of arrows, but in my opinion, it's better without it. 5/5.

Eh, now that I actually know what to do, the counterassault is pretty fun, instead of frustrating. Having phoenix strike helps loads, too.

Was not expecting the fourth one to have more than one titan. Sigh. So, I finally did beat it. Now then, onto the fifth trial. Tips here?

Wow, phoenix strike is awesome. Fights go a lot quicker, now that I can just do an all out assault, then, when their counterstrike comes, just call in the phoenix, and it almost completely eradicates them, and then I can rebuild my army and go at it again :D (once it's recharged, of course)

Yeah, my strategy now is wait 'til they arrive at my castle, then send in whatever I can to push them back, then retreat, leaving Taurus's to gaurd my escape, build an army, get about 3/4 the way to the castle, then progressively send troops back to the castle until I do a full-out retreat, then, again, have taurus's gaurd my escape. All the while only doing damage in incrememnts (about a titan card slot) then retreating, to not cause a counterstrike to ensue. If I do trigger one, the same strategy works pretty well. Just retreat, but keep the taurus's there, then just keep sending taurus's alone (with meteor backup) until the strike is to my castle (by then, it's pretty much wiped out) then just send the army to pick off survivors. Hasn't failed me yet. So...hope this helps someone? =P

yeah beat all cave of trials... With the "guige" going around it makes it easy and it really works but i used centaur, cannon, goblin, taurus, dwarf engineer and the succubus and for spells i used comet shoot ,phoenix strike, athena protection, hercules strength and lightning bolt. Awesome game 6/5

Well, the best thing to do to prevent counterassaults is attack strategically, instead of barbarically. I got their castle all the way down to a quarter health without a single counterassault. *the final quarter I just let out all the stops, with hercules strength on. They had a counterassault...but it didn't even make it past the threshold. :D*

Yeah, to agree with macattack, I don't like how, even if you're not owning them, they throw out around a hundred or more superstrong units, just out of thin air.
If you can update it into the game, either allow us to have reserve troops such as that, or only allow the AI to throw out only enough troops to make it an equal fight. (Example, you're hero-less, and you have 50 average units (such as the starting ones, or the ones recieved close after) and 10 good ones. (such as yetis), and the AI has only a small trickle of 5 average. Instead of them suddenly launching a couple dozen yeti's and horsemen at you, just 55 average (to make it 60) and 10 good (to make it, well, 10)). So, only allow the reserve to be equal to the amount of enemy troops on the field, and, if you can, make it so they can only be deployed in a critical situation. (such as, you're outnumbered 3 to 1 and they're at your doorstep)

For Skill Cards I used Comet Shoot,Freeze Trap,Phoenix Strike,Athena Protection,Hercules Strength and Lightning Bolt.1)When you start the match wait at your castle until you have reached max population.2)once you have max pop. use the comet to kill the bombers in the middle and charge,and once you charge your soldiers send the phoenix strike so the goblin won't go attacking u. 3)Then use the freeze trap to stop him from moving 4)Then use the thunderbolt to stun him again so ur army has time to reach the castle 5)Once ur army reaches the castle use Athena protection,and Hercules Strength so u can take out the castle quickly. Hopefully This Will Help Someone THIS REALLY WORKS, PLEASE KEEP IT ALIVE

i think its super gay how when you get close to your enemies castle they get about 112 extra units on the spot...but great game anyway!

This is THE BEST game in this serial. I know lots of you would like to nail me to the cross and torture me because I said that, but it`s true. I completed whole campaign with ALL heroes. I suggest to do that, so you`ll get some cards before going on Cave trials. I completed only Cave 1 and 2 so far, but it is great. It`s important to have nice amount of units on battleground, and more important is not allow enemy to spam his units only near castle. If that happens, when you come there, he`ll just crush you. First, make sure you ALWAYS have Phoenix Strike spell. Useful card. Anyway, this is epic game. It isn`t laggy to me (I have new computer :P) and I really enjoy it. 5/5.
