Tip For Cave Of Trails 5- Use long ranged monsters, do not use any spell except Comet Shoot. If you use Phoenix Strike too early, you'll kill everything, but the invisible goblin will creep up and kill you before you notice it. So, here's how you fight at this level. Gather up troops, and lay low until you have more troops then the enemy. Then attack. If you're moral is big enough, one HUGE attack should kill the enemy in 1 attack phase. If not, the goblin will sneak up, kill your base.

Good game. I agree with previous posts, the revenge waves need to be toned down, I would trade ALL the skill cards for a revenge wave.

For cave 5, you should use cards like phantom armor, yeti(frost giant), mermaids, fire succubus, witch, black knight and tarus. This are all units which can knock the ghost goblin back and temporaily prevent it from attacking. For spells, athena's protection(invincibility), phoenix strike and hercule's strength are helpful. You should put your units near the castle until the athena's protection spell is ready. Use phoenix strike and charge all your units right behind the phoenix. cast athena's protection right after pressing the attack button. when you are at the enemy castle, use hercule's strength to speed up the castle siege. The taking down of the castle should be easy with only goblins and bombers in the revenge waves. good luck.

Amazing game, and people are very enthusiastic about showing their feelings for it. 1042 pages full of comments! And I personally believe that the Grimtooth guy is the best as the weapons he gives are amazing.

finally did it, beat cave trial five took like twenty tries but its finally over, all 30 cards, beat game with all heroes, all five trials completed. ha game designers what else you got

Finished story mode without losing once. The goblin hero's enormous dinosaur thing almost wiped me out singlehandedly. Really good, fun, hard game and balanced perfectly. 5/5

... CoT 4 was alot easier bfore i finished the game. now... 2 fire devils, 1 water dragon and a shadow lord all together.

the enemy can raise a 50 man army in 3 sec, and you have to wait for a min to get like 20 guys, the only thing that really harms the enemy is your hero ( in the start of the game). Pretty crappy I think

Cave trial 5 is easy, just get an army of range units & casters that flip enemies in the air and push them back. Nothing will get even close to you, including that goblin.
