Okay, look.
For the 3 challenges:
1) The black imp resists all forms of attack, so you need a non elemental attack, which means Celestial Angel, Sky Dragon, or Meteor.
2) Rush the castle with all troops. Like, the second your heroes are up, hit assault. Either you'll destroy the castle, or you'll blow up the bomb before it gets in range of your base. Since everything has to get past it to go to the castle, everything attacks it for a while.
3) Popo, Succubus, Celestial Angel, Sylphs, and probably most of the other ranged attack units (with the exception of epic tank) can hit Baal from outside of his view range. You just have to be careful, because his attack range is a different story. If any of your units is seen, they're all gonna die. :/

I pass the game in epic and i kill the big red guy and the epic yeti, i kill all the most powerfule monster on the game and i passed

Most awesome use of a timestop:
1. Kill a Big Bang.
2. Use the timestop the instant shafts of light erupt from the Big Bang.
3. Quickly call a retreat.
Watch your troops swagger back to base while nuclear fury freezes in place behind them. Then turn those same troops around and do it again and again against a neverending procession of Big Bangs.

@pandium: this is one of the biggest games on kongregate and therefore most people can't handle to hear much other than praise for it, although I must agree with you the core concept hasn't changed much, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but alot of the suggestions beign made are also valid ones, titans arefar too expensive and require epic grinding to acquire, the gameplay is a bit slow paced, and the overall behavior of units feels flawed

Final comment: In order to win the final stage on epic, you need the following: max mana, max shield skill (just like for the 3 challenges) and all the fastest and highest population troops you can get (were tigers, imps, you know I'm talking about you). Simply rush the base as soon as you start the game with all but the heroes, then when the boss arrives use the sheild skill whenever your troops are too far from his BACK FOOT (which is the safe / no hit zone) And I restate: Challenge one you need sky dragon, challenge two either time stop and popo (aim his bomb for the middle of the big bomb) or fire lord and shield skill and challenge three just the celestial angel. + It to keep it for others struggling with the epic bosses.

Here's a few pointers which should help you finish the challenges on epic (or hard or easy):
1: The sky dragon (and I'm told meteor skill) can kill those black imps, but expect a long battle. 2: Popo of the Fire-lord titan are both excellent for killing the bombs. I reccomend either time-stop to keep it in line with popo's fire (detonate his shot in the middle for max damage) or invincibility to keep your firelord alive when it explodes. 3: Celestial angel can actually take out lord baal without any troubles. Just send it in by itself and wait. Again, a long way to do it, but it works.

To win the bigbang level you only need fast units, they will go direct to the castle, if they destroy the castle the bigbang do not kill you, only he dies.
To beat the goblin challenge use the sky Dragon in front and the other units in the backside of the dragon
Mi way to defeat Lord Baal is: chose some fast unit and wait for they are ready.. when they are ready, stop the time and send the units against Lord Ball, press the assault button or the retreat button, you have to stay just down he
Mi way to defeat Lord Ball is: pick some fast unit and wait for they.. when they are ready stop the time and send the units against Lord Ball press march or retreat to be out of the Lord Ball atack. yo have to stay just down he.

i noticed u used alot of things from past games (ex. the mini map at bottom and hero's face from 3rd game) but i think u should have kept the animation from the second game which i believe is one of the best in story line and game play. i also like this one more then the third one which was much to easy. overall very good game.

wars needs more missons more hero's and units and more upgrades and should be like armys viegraff and hes team and rembrant the Bloody and hes team and different heros and more Captains

Great game but i think it is to easy if i keep up my upgrades i can win by just hitting the assault button. I may be on normaly but there should atleast be some skill involved 5/5.

fun game ... but common , could we have a bit of control over our troops ? i dont feel like watching my titans slaying 999999999999999999999 little green goblin before moving one step closer to the castle . this game deserve a trophy and a better end

this is how to easily beat the last lvl on epic mode 5 mins max game play time!
or the heroes just simply get the 3 melees and for units get the were-tigers, goblins, phantoms and valkyries only spell needed is invulnerable and you only have to use it once start by sending all your units in except your heroes when the big boss comes out use invulnerability once your units that are already up there are hitting the castle and the boss is no longer hitting them just click assult wait 3 mins and you,ve won + if this worked for you

I think there should be a way to lock commands for units, for instance, the suicide bombers. I always want them to continue to attack, they do no good otherwise, but when I order a retreat they run like everyone else. Instead of re-ordering them every time, there should be a way to lock the order. + if you agree.

To finish the final challenge(epic yetti) u need the following things: viegraf the red (hero), simon the magician(hero), kara the slayer(hero), pixy(unit), mighty paladin(unit), goblin(unit), phantom ghost(unit), untamed beast(unit) (note that don`t ever keep a long ranged unit or titan they come in his range that is half the map). Sheild(spell), comet(spell), thunderbolt(spell), healing(spell), berserk(spell) and rage(spell). these all things should be maxed. attack the enemy castle as soon as ur heros come in the battlefield and if the epic yetti has came it directly goes for ur castle to kill it just get your units under it. It does not attack under it

I took a loooong time defeating the goblin madness stage in epic taking the angel, the tornado guy and the dragon ehehe and yes, the dragon kills the black goblins. They kill with only one hit, so keep your troops back or use them to lure the blackies near the dragon ^^. Then i wiped my browser cookies and said bye bye to my saved game.... -.-

What does the Guild Option do?I don't notice any extra money at the end of the level. I thought it would boost the money received from a level beaten (i.e. Level 7 would go from 7000 to 8400 with 20% Guild Boost). Please advise on what the guild is supposed to do.

too easy. invulnerability and berserk combo destroys everything. Oh, can't beat black goblins or the great yeti? just ignore them and focus on the castle.

Nevermind... don't clean the cookies from browser (with ccleaner for example) or else it's gone.

great game, though the hard and epic modes of the callenge levels might be upped a bit, I can start a challenge and then just walk away for 4 hours. just to see when i return that i do not have to worry cos they are still not comming close to my castle...
Great game once more for in the beginning when you have only a few units/spells/upgrades the game is a tough play.

hey hey guyz. i discovered another strategy. you must have + attack and + critical to win believe me this is the best technique ever . even the enemy is many many many or very strong . the best .

guys
note: if you cant beat a level (like me on level 7) jut try the places you completed on hard mode. until you get upgrades to beat the hard level.(its a battle strategy) if you dont like my idea just be on your own . good luck guys, its a really fun game.
