this game requires you to grind a bit, this isnt a little kids game where you just casually dance through the levels,
otherwise the complain in the comments will be "This game is too short, Should be harder"
right?

i think that the battles should be shorter because it took me atleast 3 hours just to get the other castle to half health

everyone ranged units have to move forwards because if enemy reinforcing ranged units are attacking you while you are destroying the castle your units cant hit them so they move forwards so that you have a clear shot at them so in fairness your ranged units move forward

I would love if each Unit/Hero got a slight change at the end of their upgrades; also I would love for the units to have a better automatic AI, like ranged units don't keep going forward, and the heros stop attacking so you can retreat
ex: Succubus's attacks knock the opponent back some more or last longer; they also stop moving foward naturally if they are within range

I think that this game is great but there are some things that need to be added. One is that the characters need to change when you level them up. Also I think that you should be able to do multiplayer on the game. That would be great to see how they did that. Maybe you got to decided when the units come into view of your opponent. Also I think that there should be different maps with hills and valleys and stuff like that. + this if you agree.

my first time playing this game I forgot to put my men in the arrange but then I remember how silly.If this your first time don't forget to put your men in place.step 2 place your men in the circle wen you finish click a place to go to war.step 3 wen you finish upgrade from the money from war wen you finish keep on doing this go to war,upgrade and place your men new in place with your magic also upgrade your first hero to level 3 and then the green side will be a faulble.

Do 'march' and 'retreat' actually work? I've tried them and haven't noticed any difference. For additions: I agree with the best 5 comments. Other than that, this is a fun and ADDICTIVE game. Well done to the programmer(s?).

Tip for you all time stop is the most useful thing ever upgrade mana and time stop to max and whatever else units OTHER than titan, titan = fail takes too long to spawn easy to kill not as much damage as a different unit. when time stop has 3 seconds to go use it then because of the animation.

For all its merit as a fun and engaging strategic defense game, Epic War 4 isn't without its flaws. The controls—as simple as they are—feel "sticky" at times, especially when using the point-and-click method. Even if you play it safe by using [spacebar] to confirm all movement orders and actions, there are some areas of the map where heroes and units sometimes won't respond. The developer neglected to include a handful of simple features like quicker scrolling, auto-saving, the option to speed up gameplay and an indicator for spell duration. Graphically-speaking, Epic War 4 is somewhat demanding because of the sheer number of units and effects on-screen at once. As a result, the character and spell animations are rendered at what appears to be a shoddy, low frame rate—although it's probably the only thing keeping the game from slowing to a crawl on older systems.

Despite these issues, Epic War 4 is a blast to play if you're a fan of the strategy, tactical warfare or defense genres. The new-and-improved upgrade paths provide a satisfying layer of character progression, motivating the pursuit of better units and spells (and eventually, one of several massive "Titans" that demolish everything on the battlefield). The aforementioned "Hard" and "Epic" difficulty modes extend the 12 campaign levels, and four additional "Challenge" stages provide unique scenarios, like the comical "Goblin Madness," with dozens of the little buggers falling from the sky. If you're in the mood for a battlefield warfare game that doesn't involve the oh-so-popular "turret" mechanic, Epic War 4 offers a refreshing, sword-clashing, shield-bashing change of pace.

The more levels I pass, the more it starts to look like HELL -_-"...........dear lord help me....(TIP: try to send your Titans out first until it reaches the middle of the field, keep it there until it has lost half its life or less now send your army of hell towards the army,It might not work for most of you cuz it depends on luck too so be patient cuz it took me 4 tries to beat lvl 16 with this tip so dont complain to me if it doesnt work so good luck)

personally, i think the fifth one should be like the third and second ones combined. the arrow tower is awesome, but i also like the card thing in the third one. if the developer adds that then it would be truly epic.

in my opinion, this is definitely the 2nd best epic war. honestly, epic war 2 is the best. ever. don't even say ew3 is better, it doesn't have an arrow tower. in epic war 5, give us more of an arrow tower. bring it back to its former glory! + this so developer can see.

Artemis, even though that strategy MIGHT work, I wouldn't consider any of those two. i, for one, would actully use the Meteor Spell, that giant one. But seriously, I have no idea why it takes a titan, or a life-threatening meteor just to kill on shadow goblin!

En Sorts : Il vous faut Absolument le bouclier qui rend Invulnérable , vous pouvez mettre d'autre sort mais vous n'en n'aurez en vérité pas besoin,
En Unités :Lutin , valkyries , were -tiger , sucubus, Mighty-Guardians , Slyph
Le yeti est de base faible contre la magie il est donc logique de se basé sur cette faiblesse :)
Pendant le combat : Laisser chargez votre mana jusqu'a se que vous entendez le mega yéti arrivez en suite partez a l'offensive tout en mettant votre bouclier.Lancer votre nouveau bouclier a partir de 2 ou 3 seconde.
Il faut bien sur avoir tous les sorts , unités et héros lvl 5 ainsi que votre mana.(Ceux que je vous est dit)

I can´t beat the last stage on epic mode is imposible i beat the other levels on normal hard and epic but the last one is imposible if some one beat the stage please tell me how please...
