ok i know u guys are probally guna dislike me for saying this, but i think this game is so repetitive (repeats itself) WAY to much, all u too is sit back, wait for your army to build itself, earn money upgrade and repeat, there isn't really ANY tattics what so ever. well i look forward to getting -100 now so hey.

i don't know if it's a bug or what, but some moments i keep getting the spell cursor, and i can't give orders to my armies. selecting armies in theses moments don't work. too bad there's such a lack of reactivity! great game otherwise.

Absolutely awesome game however I think that the fully upgraded epic tower should have fire arrows or expolsive shots. Still, it is a great game.

If you make epic war 5 you should make it more like epic war 2 where you pay mana for troops because theres alot more skill in it and more tactical. + if you agree

Goblin madness on epic (with dragon, angel and meteor) took me somewhere between "way too f***ing long" and "I'd rather play pong" and got me 2m in loot. No challenge, just a matter of pressing assault and going afk.

The biggest tips I can think of-
Popo pwns for pretty much anything.
Level 14 is an EPIC grinder, with 50,000-100,000 every 5 minutes or so. Just have Popo, Fire titan, sky dragon, orangutans, and click assault. You can afk the level on hard after you max everything.
Level 13 is a better long-term afk grinder. Just get orangutans and a few titans, click assault and pull back heroes. Leave for a while, and come back and finish if it's still not done. The black imps are worth a lot, so being attentive and spamming meteor blast when 2 show up also works.

for the hit and run tactic to work, it's a bad idea to max out the defensive skills because you might not be able to use defense and time stop a lot.

I loved it. I played every level at all three difficulties and I maxed out everything. Things I would like to see added are an autosave (desperately needed), a speed up button ( really important - I spent a lot of time waiting for enough mana to cast the tower, for units to finish building, for this, for that....), we need units who are told to stay NOT to advance when the enemy comes near. I would love to see an "Advance with slowest unit" option. It got old hitting "assault" and having Kara run off to die before my titan unit had barely moved.
As far as difficultly, I don't think it needs to be harder. Nothing wrong with a game that can be played casually, and the hard and epic modes do add challenge. Perhaps a "nightmare" difficulty?
But I DON'T like that I had to farming. I set up the Goblin challenge level and let it run in the background while I was doing something else.
But, over all, I loved it. I like the units, the strategies you can use, and I can't wait to see an EW5.

here are some really good tips if u need some hp for your guys: 1. always attach the healing spell on your list it heals by 1500 2-3 times 2. equipe pixies to ur team, they dont fight but the continuasly heal your troups by 100 and you can have 10 at one time (i think) + if u used these tips

another better way to beat the final angel. you have to have the fastest creatures: goblins, the two fastest heros, were tigers, and a few monkeys and popo. this is a hit and run tactic. combine time stop and defense. activate either of the two defense skills only if the final angel is near. just keep doing this until you beat the game.

i think that if you use fall back, your speed that you make the guys should increase, but your mana regen should decrease, and when you use assault, your mana regen should increase, but the speed that you make the guys decrease. + if you agree

If anyone is stumped on the Final Challenge on Epic difficulty, simply follow these simple instructions (this is advice given by a user on Youtube on one of the Walkthrough videos for this game): use the fast heroes (Viegraff, Cassandra, and Kara), and six fully-upgraded melee units. Once the level begins, then click assault immediately and begin the attack. Once your (maxed) mana hits 106, cast (maxed) Shield. The massive Yeti will come out right after that point. However, since he can't attack units close to him, his spawn will not allow him to attack the units attacking his base. Coupled with your constantly spawning units, he will be kept at bay while your units destroy the enemy base. Cast Shield and Time Stop if and when necessary, as the revenge waves DO pile up.

Need to add a passive skill, or maybe a skill to the magician hero that will speed up mana pool fill. I've beat every level and never got mana pool above 200.

This game makes you think you've bought something weedy, just to unlock another unit. I though "orangutangs? What are they gonna do? Soon two giant gorilla things were attack the baddies :D

Decent gold farming technique, work through level 12, upgrade celestial angel titan and arrow tower as much as possible. Start Level 13 (all goblins) use non aggressive troops (NO dwarves/gorillas), I use The Queen, The Hunter, and the starting hero, range attackers as they normally don't pursue, set arrow tower at about a 40-45 degree angle and place angel to where her attack ends just past where the arrows land, let it run for 30-60 minutes, then assault, rinse and repeat end up with about 225k-250k each time...I did this for 16 hours and only got 260k, so the sweet spot is about an hour at a time.

This game's mystery meat navigation is incredibly annoying. Why in the HELL is anyone still using mystery meat navigation in the year 2010?

its good but its crap when your on an attakc and then sudddenly like 20 of their best guys i.e them weird sword poeple come out and kill you

Using Were-tiger, orang utan, all titans and the heroes Veagraf, Kara and Popo is pretty good :) I kill about everything with that set up

its a very good game actually after you beat lvl 12 on normal it gets challenging and fun
if your planning for a fifth one then i and many other people suggest you should go for it!
however one thing i found is that the units advance whenever a enemy gets too close
its really frustrating and sometime you have click assault like 500 times for anything to move
also another thing i found was that most units especially the titans are unresponsive to commands, i repeatedly click fallback but they are too busy fighting goblins with dragon breath.
epic war is a really good series and hopefully the fifth one will be better.

For last challange on epic:
drop the titans, go for fast moving units in quantities: goblins ,dwarfs ,valkyres ,kaboom ,phantom ,pixies. keep the heroes back and send the rest forward. cast shield as often as you can. the gigantic ape will be stuck near his castle and the small units near him won't get hit by his attack.

a good strategy for keeping the enemy at bay is to have (5/5 everything that i say) Vie Kara (cept on Goblin Madness then use Casa) Popo [Mighty Guardian] Succubus Valkyrie Ka-BOOM [Untamed Beast] and Were-Tiger this is good cause when they knock the enemy back /into the air and when they grp together ,unless the enemy sends out the big grp of units then ur good and at the same time ur destroying the tower Skill: W/E you desire but definately heal as a back up just incase meteor for the Goblin Madness time Stop for the BIG BANG Shield again just incase and then W/E else Titans: again W/E you want but recomended for lvl 9 on epic use Great Diablos cause the sniper's arrows do NOTHIN against him and then w/e ranged units cause he acts like a shield when he gets close to the grp of the snipers (they fire like 20 arrows so a shield is good) and Sky Dragon for Goblin Madness (any titan is good for normal Baal especially Fire Lord but hard and epic Baal have resistance to Fire Lord)
