I totally agree with you SpinnakerSniper. The game runs like this: your hero/es spawn. Then your minions spawn. You then attack. If one of your characters die, they get respawned without you putting any input in whatsoever. There's nothing that you really do. The menu screen is where you use the most input. The badges just take time, no real skill (unless you count choosing your upgrades wisely as a 'skill').

hurrdurrderp i completed it with all my units lvl 1 without any titans i just used royal knight, the monkeys, were tiger, elf sniper, the dryads, imps, and succubus all in lvl 1 i just brbed for like half an hour with all my units sat to advance

I know I'm gonna get thumbs downed, but I really don't get this game. I don't see how there is any strategy, it just seems like an idle game to me.

Perfect, methinks best of the Epic War's, never got to hard or irritating at parts like the first 3:) I never used or had a purpose for shield skill or Cassandra, or anything in green on the upgrade portion. Last level in epic just send out( assault), use invulnerable when boss appears, he kind of dances around missing, and just misses enough of all to keep tapping assault/and invulnerable ignoring the boss until the castle is gone(he died before it fell though anyway).

1. What is the point of the march and retreat button?
2. There should be a command to make units aggressive or defensive.

use the small force but has a large number: goblin, ghost, dwarf and bull. the purpose is getting through the yeti and destroy castle ! Have fun !

Easiest way to grind out all upgrades.
Use Vigraf with Imps and Lord of Fire Titan. Simon with Pixies and Celestial Angel and Popo with mad bull and Sky Dragon. Select level 13 (XIII) and go afk for 5-10 minutes and you will come back to 100-130k gold. Once you have all your units including titans max level then select hard mode on level 13 and go afk when you come back you will have about 1,000,000 gold each time.

CHALLENGE 4 RIDICULOUSLY HUGE YETI: This has to be once of the most ridiculous bosses ever. This guy can hit your castle well out of range of pretty well anything, and it hurts. This is about speed, and lots of it. When you get your three heroes (Viegraf, Cassandra, and Kara), attack IMMEDIATELY. These guys, with the shield spell, are your only hope of winning this level via castle destruction before killing the yeti. So if they die, you're screwed. Let the other units fow normally. Anyway, don't use any spells other than shield whatsoever. You should be really close to the castle, so shield when the yeti comes, and keep using it until you're outiside of its minimal range (between the legs) before stopping. Keep attacking the castle. Beware, as the Yeti will move so you are in range. Before that comes, Shield.

*Continuation* CHALLENGE 3 TYRANT LORD BAAL: This one requires attention to your shield timer. Shield, SkyDragon, and Mighty Guardians (All fully leveled), Tower (optional), NOBODY ELSE. Start off with making sure the Bombs dont get to you, make a tower (not neccessary) and wait for 400 mana. Send only your Mighty Guardians and SkyDragon. Learn where Baal makes his attack, and Shield before that. Re-Shield every time the timer reaches 4-3. After a while, your Mighty Guardians and SkyDragon should be outside of Baal's minimal range, so he cant hit you. every so often, re-place your Guardians and Sky Dragon so they don't go back into range, using Shield would make you feel all the safer. Wait till Baal's death, then storm the castle with whatever other guys you brought with you. *Final continuation next post*

About Epic difficulty for the Challenges *FOR ALL ENEMY COUNTERATTACKS, JUST USE SHEILD*: CHALLENGE 1 GOBLINS: You'll really want Sky Dragon (fully leveled), as it's the only unit to harm the black goblins, keep your 3 heros at the castle, goblins fall everywhere. Keep on eye on the SkyDragon, keep him covered, it'll die from black goblins if they get too close, don't let it fall back either. Shield if necessary It WILL take awhile. CHALLENGE 2 BIGBANG BOMB: Relatively easy. All four titans on this one (just level them up a bit). Put any other units you see fit. Just send in your heros right at the start. Once yor titans come, go full assault. Soon before the bomb blows, use your shield, you wont get hit even if its the BigBang. Repeat until victory. *Countinued Next Post*

A lot of people recommend Sky Dragon for Goblin Madness but I'm finding Celestial Angel to be much more effective. With Sky Dragon I was never able to force the thing to get past 1/2 way and it gets hard to coax the black goblins back that far. Celestial Angel tends to make it 2/3 of way before locking up and has a much larger attack range.
I wish we still had the old mana spell though. It would be very helpful towards end game. Though considering the fact that we don't need mana for troops anymore that would make spells a bit too overpowered.
