I noticed that if a unit has the opportunity to attack, it will tak it, no matter the orders given. As this is a game based on your ARMY orders should be FOLLOWED.

press + if you want an epic war 5, more units, castle units (units on top of castle to protect it) and different variety of projectiles, auto-save, speed button and more units to place per battle.

wtf, you have to click save to save your progress. unlike almost any other flash game on the entire site!?! normally you can close the browser and just resume, after a few hours grinding i don't think i will bother again.

Here's some help. Challenge 1: Use Meteor Blast (Skill) or Sky Dragon (Titan) to kill the black imps. Challenge 2: Use Stop (skill) to slow bomb and aim upgraded Popo's(hero) attack to hit the center for max damage by moving him back and forth when needed. Challenge 3: Use Shield(skill) until your Diablos and/or Lord of Fire goes directly on the boss. Then go afk for a while. Final Challenge: Max shield(skill) and charge the base while keeping invincible up. Use imps to slow the boss from advancing.

over all its good.. the 2d type of thing just kills part of the game... thats fixed by allt he characters love the game over all 5/5

Great game, but like others said, troop management is horrible. They keep moving when not ordered to, attack backwards if ordered forward (even for attacking targets they can't harm), units like the angel can't be forced forward as long as there are any units in their attack range, archers and succubi keep advancing past the melee troops, and pixies just rush forward rather than staying at a good healing spot... that's not so much challenging, it's plain stupid. Solution: for unit commanding, have commands like 'hold position', 'guard area', 'aggressive' and 'force march'. Using such commands well is challenging, and makes it possible to have your troops work together.
Other than that, speed up is indeed also welcome on some levels. And skill activation doesn't respond as well as I'd like. Other than that, no big complaints.

I have some small suggestions:
1 - Every hero should give the units "aligned" (Set to the tree branch in the units/heroes/spells organization screen) to them some sort of bonus. (Exemple: Attack Bonus, Movement Bonus, Range Bonus, etc.)
2 - If a certain unit is "Aligned" to a specific hero, they should get a special attack, that would be executed from time to time.
And 3 - You could really add in-game "Achievements". They usually make the players want to play more and more. (Example: Maximize every unit. Maximize every spell. Defeat the Epic Yeti. Etc.)

This game is okay, but they sort of killed it by trying to make it too epic. Epic war one was definitely the best! Since Epic War one, it has sort of gone downhill.

honestly later the best tactic is stack 400mp then rush full army on invisible throught whole map. nothing can stand against it .

Titan units are cool but I think the angel should have the color like goden or silver or white,pink with little purple maybe too girly I think and I agree with others,you should add scroll on the minimap for easier and faster tactic. The last I think the best way to beat epic levels is max mana and max shield,you just need to boost shield in battles then heroes and titan units will do the rest.Cool game 5/5

CHALLENGE 4:
the concepts for normal and epic mode in this one are the same. just max out your melee units, then rush the castle. use shield when needed.
Hard mode however, is tricker, as there is a unkillable "giant dark lord of fire" (not sure if can be killed, please help verify) after you damage the castle a bit, which will massacre your team if not properly defensed. same melee units used, but this time, hold back and wait for mana charging. when its maxed out, rush forward with shield, this way, some of your units will slip through and make it to the castle, and will destroy the castle.

CHALLENGE 3:
lord baal is easily taken down in normal and hard, just use your titans to take him down, especially lord of fire. in epic mode, baal gets a new ability: absorb Fire AND Melee, which converts damage of those elements into healing. the best tactic is to use the queen & magician hero ( third hero is useless. just use him as a insurance incase your units die), along with the dragon and angel titans. for your units, max out the knight, valkarie, slyph, and elf sniper, and put them on your team.
Now the boring part: wait for max mana, then shield (maxed) rush baal. it should be easy afterwards.

the golden angel is immune to everything but non-elemental, and absorbs magic, the pixies heal it too fast for you to kill it(usually) i say stop time/shield, and rush,(keeping heroes away) a lord of fire and angel can usually let the fire by until the angel dies, letting you deal about 20% damage... still takes forever, but the enemy wont attack you, EVER XD

Your units go out of command also your hero very annoying.I hate it when your units move out of place even if i ordered them to stay there. There should be a fast forward also .Yours and your enemy's castle looks ugly for me LOL. Another than this, its 4/5 for me cuz im a Big fan! Keep making more of these games.

also, it would be nice to have a "JUST STAY PUT" button. i'm tired of telling my army to fall back every time an enemy wanders over.
