My own Strategy to the challenges... May look like the own that has 3k votes but trust me i played the challenges several times and this is the most efficient.
Challenge 1: like said above use Sky Dragon.. And Meteor blast to take care of C
Black imps. For units your choice. But it is good to have Popo as a hero/ or Simon since he freezes.
Challenge 2: Have Popo to take out bombs make sure to have shield up before it blows. And have time stop to slow them down.
Challenge 3: (Normal) Charge him with units try to arrange him so he is facing away from your base so more troops can come in (Hard /Epic) Use Sky Dragon to take him i tried all the other titans he works the best. Make sure that their shadows are touching so he does not die. Use shield so he gets there safely, Also use +100% crit / +100% attack so Baal dies faster and do not be afraid to use meteor blast it deals a bit of damage to Baal 5000-6000 if you have +100% crit / +100% damage.

Final Challenge: (normal) try to aim the angel away from enemy base meanwhile attacking it with troops. Pure melee troops i suggest. Power ups Shield and Time stop. Final Challenge (Hard): Now this one you want to do an immediate charge expect your heroes to die. Once when your heroes are up charge again and try to make your troops attack the castle meanwhile goblins/ Dwarfs are hitting Lord of fire. Make sure to use shield so troops do not die. revenge waves may kill your troops so also have a titan to stop the revenge way from getting to your base. Final Challenge (epic): Just charge base use shield once when it is up and once when Yeti is above you just keep attacking and the castle should go down.

Great game, in game achievements screwed up a little. I got the "beat all levels on epic" achievement for getting all upgrades and vice versa.

Good game a few problems, most have already been stated but here is one i haven't seen yet. Make the beginning castles HAVE LESS HEALTH! It takes to long to kill them when you have such weak troops! Well other than those few problems i say 4/5

I'm stuck on lvl 16 epic but from other comments I found this out. use gobolins to slow da yeti down. He takes X10 damage! He is like baal: he can't hit under him. he can kill ya from half way across map. Hope this helped!

Easy way to win all levels : upgrade time stop, mana and beserk to max, then keep on stopping time and kiiiiiiilllllll everything

Seriously, even time stop doesn't work on the weird thing thats flinging bloody(Yet apparently unharmed) goblins into the area

Seriously awesome game! Definitely worth the time to get the hard badge. My one problem is with the movement, especially with Lord of Fire. You can spend forever trying to fiddle these guys into place, and then when you have the hang of it and are just about prepared to take on the same enemy on epic, the attacks resist. This makes Lord Baal epic nearly impossible to kill, as he's healed by melee. I just ended up moving 12 lvl5 shadow warriors to the gate, shielding past him and keeping it up until the gates fell. Still, 5/5 faved.

I think there should be a mana regeneration booster, but make it expensive so we don't go wild on them spells & magics on the sole start ;)

in my though, the 4 mov buttons need layout rework, happen several to me to press assault when wanting march, or fall back when retreat.

a hold position button (stay here at all cost)

a protect position button (may attack the attackers, but come back on position right after)

The last boss on epic. I tried. Pure insanity. On normal i had trouble. Just maxing up the titans does something, but try to upgrade every unit you'll use.

I dislike the money grinding.You cant get past some of the levels becuase you have to grind just to get enough money to upgrade a skill or get a unit. otherwise I like it

I admit, this game is tough when it comes to completing it, but it takes a lot of thinking and skill (what troops to march and not to march and hold back until on my signal). I give this game a 5/5. I'm looking forward to Epic War V. And @doom210: You don't need to press 'fall back' to make all of your troops fall back and attack the enemy troops advancing at your castle, you can just click the troops pictures that you want to fall back, but instead click 'retreat' but make sure you have selected the troops that you want to make a retreat towards your castle. Click on them again and then click 'march' to make them advance.

The game is sooooooooo slow!
It's fun and all, but each fight takes waaaayyy too much time... Maybe a speed up button would do the trick...
Also - I find the new system of "buying" a bit silly... I liked the older system - you encounter a certain kind of creature in combat and then you have the option of using it...

for bonus levels 3 and 4 you better use only close combat uniys and no titans (even take goblins and mad bulls) and use invincibility I took half the time it takes in the walkthrough
