To defeat the last level: Max out Mana(castle alter), Shield and Time-Stop. Use "quick-strike units"...I use Were-Tiger, Valkyrie, Ka-Boom!, Phantom Ghost, Untamed Beast, Mad bull(or Celestial Angel). Let your mana build up 1st. Send out Ka-Booms! & Phantom Ghosts to "stall" Epic Yeti. Once he gets 1/3rd across the map, march your slowest units 1st, then your faster ones...So most will get to the same point at the same time. Right before the Epic Yeti strikes, hit shield, then the assault button. Most of your troops & heroes will go straight for the castle, while your Were-Tigers keep Epic Yeti guessing which way to throw down his fists. Hit the shield button 3 seconds before your first one runs out. Use time-stop if you have to so the Epic Yeti turns around, but only use it by itself & when your shield runs down to 5 seconds. Keep using shield...Just make sure your timing is excellent, don't use any other spells and you will eventually win! Rate up to save.

I like this game don't get me wrong.
But seriously I would of thought Rudy would change that f***ing bat women/lady's attack it's so overpowered! I mean, I wouldn't mind if it could only send 1 unit flying. But to send my ENTIRE army half way back across the map? I hardly think thats fair... Anyway great game.

To unlock other troops, you must upgrade a hero to lvl 3!
To kill black imp use meteor skill or sky dragon! (you unlock it by upgrading hero to lvl 3)
To kill the bigbang use the stop skill!
To kill Balrag guy buy yourself the lord of fire titan, use the shield skill untill titan reaches Balrag and let it there so it kills him!

i played lvl 13(epic) for like 30 minutes, and i got to kill one of the dark goblins but i dont know how did a did that =P

I finished this game weeks and weeks ago but I started a new save about 10 minute ago and I'm on the 3rd level.
I realised a problem I noticed the first time I played, I understand farming for gold to upgrade and move on but seriously, I've had to do the 2nd level 4 times just to upgrade enough to do level 3.
Level 2 sends mad bulls out which, each bull kills 11/15 of my goblins in 2 single hits... EACH!
Then level 3 has archers AND the ghouls with swords which are better at killing all my goblins than the bulls, neither of which I can afford at this point in the game unless I keep on re-doing the previous level.
I'm all for farming, it's a good thing to have in a game but a game that gives you no other choice but to farm just so you can beat the 3rd level, yes, 3RD BLOODY LEVEL, is ridiculous.
My point is, 3rd level is a wee bit early and sort of annoying to be forcing me to farm for gold.
Still a good game though and my 5/5 rating hasn't changed.

The black imp is really easy to kill if you have the sky dragon. You have to do none elemental damage to him which the dragon does. So he can kill it (them)

for ape montain you can go the easy way or the long ( more money giving) way
for the long way just atk with your units (not heroes) and use spells if needed to back up your units have fun

mindaugas1000: Use fast units that get up close on Ape moutain. For total ownage, us Phantom Ghosts and Dwarf Engineers. Use Ka-Booms when they are all summoned and Freeze time when Apes are clustered together/reinforcements come, then send in your PGs and DEs.

Ok I know I am not stupid. I can't seem to get this game to play on anything but "normal" mode. How do I get to the more difficult modes?? When I start, it only has the normal option. What am I missing?

Here's some help. Challenge 1: Use Meteor Blast (Skill) or Sky Dragon (Titan) to kill the black imps. Challenge 2: Use Stop (skill) to slow bomb and aim upgraded Popo's(hero) attack to hit the center for max damage by moving him back and forth when needed. Challenge 3: Use Shield(skill) until your Diablos and/or Lord of Fire goes directly on the boss. Then go afk for a while. Final Challenge: Max shield(skill) and charge the base while keeping invincible up. Use imps to slow the boss from advancing.

please keep thi comment alive! the third unit tree is only avalable after u get a heero to level three. the best hero, kara the slayer, is at the end of it.

for EW5 you should be able to battle with all of your units, not just the ones that you pick. Or at least add more slots
