mastergamer,when you level a hero up to level 3 you'll unlock the hero for that category.
darkice,just charge units (with stop and invulnerable)and let them hack away at him.it takes ages though.

idk if this is a bug or not but in the upgrade the green section has nothing in it. so i cant buy anything from the green. im i suppose to unlock anything first?

-.- if u haven't noticed yet then i will tell u now that the active spells pop up on the bottom right of the screen above the mini map so thumb up so people will stop complaining.

I cant use heroes on the green side of upgrading which means none of the units even though i beat the game and extra challenges why is that?

Nice game does get boring but nicely done I just Farm the same levels till I have enough money to max out any thing in the beginning lol.

Okay this better get thumbed up. I'm sick of seeing people wrong.
1. There IS a 'crossbow'/arrow shooter. It's called the Epic War Tower. You can unlock it, and you can control it with your mouse.
2. There is no 'mute' button but you can completely get rid of the SFX or BGM by going to the Options menu.

Badges is what this game needs and we need an Epic War 5 with more units and heros and at least 2 Easy badges for beggining players.Plus if you like

Oh yeah..just realized...for march and retreat is the same as assault and fall back, except it only works for the units selected. Assault and fall back commands all units.

My overall review of the Epic War Series. Epic War 1, a great start 5/5 Amazing idea! Epic War 2, a spectacular upgrade! Major improvements, 5/5. Epic War 3, its as if the game restarted. The idea actually got worse. 4/5 :(. Epic War 4, high improvements and much use of strategy. It is Phenomenal series. Hopefully Epic War 5 will be made. Thank you for this series, Rudy!

Wow, the phoenix spell looks pretty lame in this one lol. But overall, not bad. Always fun seeing many people beat the crap outta each other.

There is a symbol that tells when your spells run out, but it doesn't tell time remaining. How do you know if it's half way used up or 3/4 used up? I don't find it that big of a deal but that's probably what other people are complaining about :O

to all those who want a way to tell if their power up is gone look for a very small symbol above the minimap. just noticed it myself

How exactly do I use spells? I cant tell if its equipped or not, and I dont even know if the spell is happening or not.

wats really cool about this epic war is that it has the most popular feautars from the 3 past wars, and gret new features, though i still like epic war 3 a bit better, this is still GREAT!

This game is okay, but how anyone can give it 5 stars is beyond me. It's no where near being great and still needs a lot of work.

This game actually feels like it was made before the others. The graphics are worse: A huge, pixilated, ape is the final boss...really? And both baal's and the titan's sword looks fake, almost added from another game or something.
