I'm just gald the castles aren;t way overpowered. in epic war 3 it took at least a couple of minutes on the first level to beat the castle

good game although i do have some problems with it such as the interface seemed almost the exact same as in epic war 3 except for the hero part also units looked the exact same although there may have been minor remodeling i cant tell besides the battle part the game is much better also hero's only have one attack animation and cant move until its done and the wizard even though he riding a dragon uses a weak magic attack. also the battles eventually take well over half an hour to complete once you get past 6. so overall the game felt kind of rushed and could have been a much better game.

Items and spells are a little over priced. And the retreat and march buttons do nothing. Other then that this is a great game. Not as great as the others.

The only units you need are... heroes: Veigraf, Cassandra, Kara. Units: goblin, were-tiger, pixie, valkyrie, phantom ghost + one more ( i use epic tank). skills: max mana and shield. max all these and epic mode is easy. General fighting (level 1-12): Send in the units until you have about 100 mana, then send everything, when heroes hit castle cast shield, recast when necessary.

Too much of this game is distracting and being distracted. Hold position and move are needed. It seems like you just need to rush before they get bosses out and spam shields.
Some of the types are weird. Arrow tower is MELEE? Baal absorbed it so I used different units. Arrows are fine unless they're tower catapulted arrows?!? And, some units use multiple types and this isn't listed. It'd be nice if attack, move speed, range and creation time were listed.
Rain of arrow and phoenix seem underpowered. Shield and stop are too strong, but the way you've designed the challenges they kind of have to be.
Of the heros, is Kara supposed to be OP? Fastest unit, strong to all= basically replaces Viegraf. Cassandra seems slightly weak (more arrows?) since she can only hit 3 targets while others can take out a group. Simon seems very underpowered. I'd suggest making him a true ranged character and bumping stats a little.

oh i forgot... hero like the first 1 u get... i find that when he attacks he must finish it before he moves on.... even when all enemy are dead

This is worse than the previous version. It has some great potential but fails to deliver most of them. It seriously lacks, like many have already said, a speed up button and a boost of difficulty. It just takes time to beat, no skill. 2/5.

Overall an alright game. I think the first few levels were boring grind fests but the game speed picked up later on and occasionally had some challenges (the first titan level for example). For those having trouble I've found that on many of the difficult challenge levels if you send ghosts warriors and give them invisibility they can often sneak past tough bosses such as the black goblins and decimate the castle. Minotaurs and the fire tornado titan guy seem to be able to do this to a lesser extent as well. Invincibility and slow time seem drastically overpowered especially after you upgrade your max mana capacity. Overall a fairly decent game. I liked the variety of the bosses a lot (especially that giant bomb guy). I think there needs to be something more to the game though. As most people state I tend to just press assault and let the troops do their thing or on the hardest levels click invincibility a few times.

the x20 or x100 wouldn't do much...not even x1000 would be fast enough...i made a map for a game in the time this was doing 1 lvl

Umm... forgive me for being a dummy, but the 'Help' doesnt really fulyl explain everything. how the hell do i use the tower (ive already unlocked it) and how the hell do i increase my mana

For the Dragon, use long ranged units coupled with short ranged units to guard them. Once the dragon appears fall back and wait 'till it stops. I recommend using Orange Utans, Popo the Dwarf, and Epic Tank for long range, and using Viegarf, Phantom Ghosts, and Mighty Guardians for short range. Don't come too close to the dragon, and when any of your units gets within his range PRESS FALL BACK, because sometimes he comes forward to attack. Use the Rain of Arrow skill to do massive damage. DO NOT CHARGE IN AND FACE IT HEAD ON.
It'll take awhile to beat him, so be patient. RATE UP SO PEOPLE CAN SEE!

also one more thing, many people were saying it needs a speed up button, I say fudge you popscicle. The best part of this game is watching my were tigers slice everything to little bits why would i speed up the game and miss that?

My unstopable army consisted of all four titans, imps and weretigers throw in a heal spell for the titans, tower and a bunch of attack spells and i marched straight through all challenges and most epic battles. Awesome game fixed a lot of problems and once again made it new and interesting while still keeping the same epic spirit. Also, EPIC WAR 3000!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i hope)

Best units to invest in. Taurens, goblins, popo (Level 3) early. to unlock Kassandra.
Avoid Dwarven engineers, and ghost armours.
Level 12 is best fought over and over on normal for weaker players the net is high enough to do lots with.

dude... after i got past the fact that its raining goblins, i got stuck on the red ones... then the black ones... then the fact that my guys cant go anywhere because theres 15 bajillion goblins in front and another 15 bajillion behind... this level is... retarded, thank god for phoenix strike :D

Well first off, I am ecstatic at how much the controls have improved from EP3 to EP4. Now we are able to easily control specific types of units, which was extremely hard in EP3. The graphics are also much better than the previous games. All in all i would give this game 9/10.

i can't cast spells. it doesn't work. there are very few decent instructions for this. you need to tell us. wheres the mana bar? is it the same as the blue bar at the top?

This is so well tuned that I'm afraid of the epic mode. I'm also excited, but afraid. I wish it was possible to select everyone at once... 5/5 :)

only the challenge lvls were difficult on epic. The actual campaign was easy, but i still enjoyed (How can you not enjoy watching weretigers rape goblins and minotaurs)
