Lvl 14: Use RUSH Army mentioned above. Use shield just before bomb's life goes to 0
Lvl 15: Lord Baal resists/absorbs melee, kills Titans with 1 hit, weak against magic. Use all magic units in army, let your melee heroes stay at castle. Once you get 2-300 mana, Assault and Shield until your army has surrounded Lord Baal. He can't hit units close to him.
Lvl 16 Hard: Use the RUSH Army. Keep pressing assault and using shield, get your units past the Black Fire Lord so that they can target the castle.
Lvl 16 Epic: Create a close-ranged army with the highest damage output. Send Bulls to stall the GIANT APE(weak against all attacks) until you get enough mana, use Shield send all units close to the GIANT APE on RIGHT side. (For any lvl): If you have spare mana, or as a last resort, you can combo Berserk and Rage to quickly take down bosses/castles. Rate to keep Comment Alive

Levels 1 to 12: Use a RUSH army: Heroes Vielgaf Cassandra Kara, Units Tiger Valkyrie Pyxie Succubus Bull Ghost, Assault as soon as heroes spawn, use Shield during 'Revenge Waves'(lots of enemies spammed when castle life low) and when special (abnormally colored/gigantic) units spawned. If defeated, fallback, wait for mana recharge, assault and shield again. On most levels castles destroyed before enemy has mustered full strength.
Lvl 13: Kara Cassandra Popo; Tiger Valkyrie Succubus Dragon Bull Guardian, Abut keep Heroes near your base. Use Tower when there's enough mana. Use Meteor to kill the Black goblin when it spawns. 2 conditions to Win: 1. Black goblins eventually stop respawning. 2. Dragon gets close to their base. Then you can spam shield and assault to Win

Just so everyone knows... If you go to the Options menu while in the game (the part where you pick your mission) You can turn down both sound settings to their lowest amount and it will mute the sound. Found that out earlier today and thought I'd share!

Team I won almost everything on epic with: The Ranged Heros with Sky Dragon, Orangutan, Were-Tiger, Phantom Ghost, Pixie, the last slot being situational use what the situation calls for. I go with Succubus to keep enemies off of the Orangutans. The Melee will run ahead clearing the way for the Orangutans who can hit the castle from halfway across the map with a lucky bounce. The Pixies have to be manually placed. Keep them with the Orangutans unless the melee is at the castle. Once the Dragon spawns, if your troops aren't already near the enemy castle, group the Ghosts at your castle. Send them out and then the Dragon. They should clear a path most of the way to the enemy castle for your Dragon. Shield is the best spell by far, but the rest is up to you.

oh and i think this team will do great in goblin madness popo,wizard,princess,archer snipers,cannon,mighty guardians,dragon,angel and diablo... did great in hard and normal

How to grinding efficency:
Get a Dragon and a Celestial Angel, together with lv maxed goblin, mad bull and dwarf gunner, go to Hard challenge 1, choose assault, then go afk for a while, it will earn you about 400K after awhile...may take half an hour though..

To let everyone know that if you are somewhat uncomfortable of not knowing when is/are your skills are going to run out of time after u use it, you can see how many seconds left before it will run out on the bottom right. It will show how many seconds till it ran out. If you use same skill at once, it will not lengthen the time till it will run out.(Same) Skills will only take effect one at a time.

After a VERY long while enemies stop coming in. Try it with level 1 on normal if you want to. That should take the smallest amount of time. I wanted to sit out level 13 (black imps), but lost patience after ...uhm ... maybe 2 hours. I finished the level by crushing the castle with shield-spell and got 2.384.900 loot (+90k as total). But i do not recommend this way of making money.

They never forgot to make hotkeys guys. here are the hotkeys that i've discovered when i first started this game when it came out on its first day but never shared it since I always forgot to post a comment about it. (: HotKeys: First hero(Q) Troops(W,E). Second Hero(R) Troops(T,Y). Third Hero(U) Troops(I,O)
To select all three heroes press (S) To select all troops press (D) To select ALL press (A)

awesome game. level X or 10 is a bit too easy on easy. cause you can destroy the castle long before anything bad happens

A great sequel, and i'm happy that they nerfed the counter waves a bit, but to make up for it they made the enemy a bit stronger, which is something EP3 lacked a bit. You could just send a horde of units and win EP3, but in EP4 you actually need some strategy. I also like the level variation, because there is a Titan level, a level with only units that have a magical attack, an endless goblin level, and so on. This makes you have to think up a new strategy every time: if a strategy works on the endless goblin level, it probably won't work on the Big Bang level. Hit + if you agree!

its kinda hard for me to do the dragon level so if ur stuck on that level to best advice keep doing the level b4 that and earning a lot of gold so that u can buy a god or whatever its called

Finished the game; got all the in game achievements including full upgrades and all of the Kongregate achievements. Really, this game takes no skill. It was fun, but there was never any point where I said "all right, I have to rethink my strategy and try this again"... there were a few points where I said "HOLY @#$# LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT BOSS" but... nothing was really HARD. Most of the time I just had to hit charge and afk.
-To get money. First, find the hardest level you can win without doing anything but hitting the charge button. Once you've gotten to the first challenge level, repeatedly do that one. You should be able to win it by windowing out and afking, and it gives a good amount of money.
-To win any of the challenging levels: spam stop or shield.

For people who wondering how to get decent money, here's what i do: Just spam level 12 (trojan horse) on hard or epic difficulty. Its not that hard if you have maxed mana and maxed shield, just save your mana and use the shield spell once the horse appears, you will be more or less invincible nonstop from the time the horse spawns to the time the base dies. Doing this i get about 70-80k gold each time and it takes about 3-5 minutes. NOTE: You do NOT need titans to do this.

The Geat Diablos takes to long to move and attack. I had him 3/4 of the way to the castle and my Lord of Fire got there before him!!! Wats up with that?

Perhaps you could add a stop button in for the troops? So if you want them to fall back but not all the way back or move forward but not all the way, you can do so. If there is one I might have overlooked it.

Kirzen, did you not realize that there was an upgrade tree, Like to make units better, so its easier? Or, did you post those comments before it even finished loading?
