@ horserax: first, it is spelled come, spelling it the way you are makes you look like am immature 10 year old. Second, its GOBLIN madness, there is an I not an E. Third, the only way to kill it is to use Meteor or Sky dragon, so deal with it.

Click assault, wait, upgrade, repeat ... for about 8 hours. This is the worst gameplay imaginable. Not fun at all. And the animation is ugly. 1 star.

Here's some help. Challenge 1: Use Meteor Blast (Skill) or Sky Dragon (Titan) and Celestial angel to kill the black imps. Challenge 2: Use Stop (skill) to slow bomb and aim upgraded Popo's(hero) attack to hit the center for max damage by moving him back and forth when needed. and Titans Challenge 3: Use Shield(skill) until your Diablos and/or Lord of Fire goes directly on the boss and Stop (skill) to stop the atack. Then go afk for a while. Final Challenge: Max shield(skill) and charge the base while keeping invincible up. Use imps to slow the boss from advancing.

to easily kill the baal boss or stage 15 boss make fire titan ice titan and diablos titan with shield fully upgraded send where tiger and yeti then use shield while you send your guys to attack him

this game is good but include every body comment I think u need the range troop to stop advance on it own because that make the dragon attack and u could move the range troop when they attack on your own

The graphics are quite nice but there's a very unpolished feel about the interface, UI elements just don't "feel" right and there is a lot of lag (even on a high end machine).

What would be a great addition is one simple unit command; "Defend". Once a unit was placed in an area, it would advance to kill an enemy, then immediately retreat back to its original position. The lack of this makes certain levels a micromanaging nightmare and definitely detracts from the enjoyment of the game.

I was about to turn of the comp when i see epic war 4, which I've been waiting for since something went horribly wrong with #3. anyway i played through normal mode, and its a definite upgrade but i was once again disappointed by the lack of story. Epic War 2 is the best game on this site, which made it all the more disappointing to find epic war 4 with a dry, old, cut and paste, cliched, 2 page long story. but i am glad to see that the series is headed back in the right direction.
PS: I'm not saying that epic war 3 is a bad game, because its on my faves and I gave it a 5 star rating. What i am saying is that the creator and this series can do far better.

I noticed that if a unit has the opportunity to attack, it will tak it, no matter the orders given. As this is a game based on your ARMY orders should be FOLLOWED.

press + if you want an epic war 5, more units, castle units (units on top of castle to protect it) and different variety of projectiles, auto-save, speed button and more units to place per battle.

wtf, you have to click save to save your progress. unlike almost any other flash game on the entire site!?! normally you can close the browser and just resume, after a few hours grinding i don't think i will bother again.

over all its good.. the 2d type of thing just kills part of the game... thats fixed by allt he characters love the game over all 5/5

Great game, but like others said, troop management is horrible. They keep moving when not ordered to, attack backwards if ordered forward (even for attacking targets they can't harm), units like the angel can't be forced forward as long as there are any units in their attack range, archers and succubi keep advancing past the melee troops, and pixies just rush forward rather than staying at a good healing spot... that's not so much challenging, it's plain stupid. Solution: for unit commanding, have commands like 'hold position', 'guard area', 'aggressive' and 'force march'. Using such commands well is challenging, and makes it possible to have your troops work together.
Other than that, speed up is indeed also welcome on some levels. And skill activation doesn't respond as well as I'd like. Other than that, no big complaints.

I have some small suggestions:
1 - Every hero should give the units "aligned" (Set to the tree branch in the units/heroes/spells organization screen) to them some sort of bonus. (Exemple: Attack Bonus, Movement Bonus, Range Bonus, etc.)
2 - If a certain unit is "Aligned" to a specific hero, they should get a special attack, that would be executed from time to time.
And 3 - You could really add in-game "Achievements". They usually make the players want to play more and more. (Example: Maximize every unit. Maximize every spell. Defeat the Epic Yeti. Etc.)
