in fact, did the graphics get a bit worse even? looked better doing the cartoony look if you cant pull of the realistic, which it can't apparently, the game play is rather slower in the beggining and there isnt much to keep me playing, which sucks becuase i loved the last one

I disagree with the 'speed up' button comments. If there was one, all you would have to do is beat level one/two/three a bunch of times, in 10 seconds each, to max out your levels. Not very challenging.

After playing the first three epic wars, I couldn't think of anything that help improve an already amazing game. But this one took it to the next level. The game is amazing; many great ideas and concepts here with only small work to be done. Need x2 x3 x10 speed button, autosave, button to shut sound/music off in game. Great game though. The artwork is exceptional. 5/5

to win last level on epic (yeti): phantom ghosts, goblins, were tigers, dwarf engineers, valkyries, pixies. as soon as he comes out, start rushing using shield spell. and keep doing it every time shield is up. have fun

A side note to Arsony's comment, ranged units like the archers need to be programmed so that they don't advance to fire if they don't need to, mine keep moving into melee range on the enemies instead of staying back where archers belong, this is especially annoying for the archer hero, who you want to keep alive since she's a hero.

Wow, why does everyone say you can just go to a new tab? Try a harder mode and you will see that your army will be wiped clean for just throwing them forward.

@VMUTFN: The retreat and march buttons do work. They are for specific units. You can click 1 type of unit or multiple and click march to send the group forward and retreat to bring them back.

New stuff around the edges but the core gameplay is just as terrible as it's always been. Build all the units, go forward. Except now it builds units automatically, so at the beginning of the battle you just hit "assault" and alt+tab while the game beats itself.
Riveting.

While the Epic War series is largely grey and generic as far as I'm concerned, I like the automated nature of minion summoning this time around. On the other hand, I feel like upgrades cost far too much compared to the prizes awarded from missions -- I ran out of missions long before I had much of the wheel completed, let alone anything raised to a decent level. Actually getting the wheel fully filled in and everything fully upgraded is proving to be repetitive and boring.

if there will be a 5, u can make the battle field 2D (1D is a line, while 2D is like a square) and add tatical positions, it adds complexity to the game, btw don't make it any slower

the characters are sooo out of poportion. Lol the red hero looks like its on a giant horse while the wizard hero is on a tiny dragon

Not a bad game, but I don't feel it adds anything particularly new to the series when the previous two were largely reskins or expansion packs of the first.

Congratulations! You just won the Semantic Satiation Badge and 30 points! fun, great game. only complaint is that, despite it now shows when your active spells (like berserk or time stop) disappear, it doesnt show how long till it will. If there was a meter that showed how long until it disappeared, it would be even better. 5/5 Yet another game thats living up to its name.

lvl 12 is so easy if you have fire lord, send regular units forward while keeping heroes at base, wait till fire lord spawns, and sit back and watch

For Epic Hero 5, you need either more heroes or at least one more unit slot for each hero. Also, I think that when you level up a spell, the mana cost should go down as oppose to up. And lastly (and most obviously) the A.I. really needs improving, especially with the brain-dead pixies, they just charge right off into the middle of combat sometimes (try using pixies on level 8, you'll see what I mean)
