I feel this game is just a beta. Difficulty is just unbalanced. Until the extra levels, you just have to select your units and send them to the front (sometimes, you have to use spells in extra levels, but not so often). In the trials levels, they last 30 minutes, your hero is just killed in max 3 hits, ennemy's unit are just ridicously powerful ... And meanwhile, your units win xp that can't be used. And let's talk about the upgrades ... Seriously useless, very limited, I just feel the game is not finished. I really miss "general" upgrades like increasing the unit speed or the spawn speed or just make spells more powerfull (increase the heal done, the wall's hp, or the duration of the armor strengthening, ...). It would be a very godd idea to have the possibility to merge items, to cumulate the effects. Or just to upgrade the weapons/armors, with rare items why not, but to have the possibility to upgrade our units as far as we want. The game could be a very good game ...

I had success over and over just by leaving my hero at the start line and sending everyone into battle. The hero doesn't get hurt, and the other soldiers keep regenerating themselves, continually returning to battle in a cycle wave. Cast spells when you can and just sit back get bored and watch the carnage.

Oh, well... i look a sec the fone (incoming call) and my hero dies... He wasn't even near front lines...
Cool game, but heroes die so easly.. And that is more than disappointing.

I was about to say that the game needed a fast-forward button when I found... A fast-forward button! (It's in the pause menu if anyone didn't know.)

Love the game in every way and especially love the epic soundtracks in the formation section and the battle soundtrack. Simply can't get more epic then this, well done on this game.

Spent 5 hours playing before I found the 3x speed option.. Finished 100% within 30mins of finding that. Made grinding levels for skills so much faster too.

If there was but a mute button, this game would be perfect. Since I can't not listen to the repetitive soundtrack, and have something else playing off of youtube. Humbug.

best units are hades 1) iron fortress 2) earth dragon 3) black dragon 4) inferno 5) golem 6) angel 7) phoenix 8) white wolf 9) lamia 10)

I believe this game has just one major flaw--that when you unlock the final "epic units" you don't even need to use them since you already beat the game. For instance, the King of Hell is useless!

the inferno is so annoying his attack moves him forward past my troops getting him closer to my hero, and he just walks right past all my units even the ones that can live through his attacks

i whould say there is missing spaces for units and i have completed all 3 campians and got all units but there great deal of slots still there like if whant power goblins in one of em slots

i prefer lord of hell black dragon earthdragon angel and tiger and death are powerful than others and the golem is powerful too

its only easy in beginning of this game but in trials you need to farm mission first so you can pay back those trials you need hero is the skeleton hero you need range units cause they give many damage to use only archer the centaur and the elder wizard there good in all mission

i need to say epic war 4 is better that epic war 5 like i mean all of epic war 4's epicness is gone now replaced with epic war 5's lameness
