Well there isnt a minimap, i dont know when they are coming or not, and tho mana cost is still very high, it makes it even more epic how there isnt no mana regeneration nor mana limit max over 100. And how the skill is set up i dont very like much because you must have that unit equip to use that skill, i rather it by my side then click the unit to use that skill. Is there no other way to have you upgrade you castle, tower, altar, characters even more then just up to 9 times. i am just saying, i was kinda thinking more epically crazy then 1,2,3,4 cause i played them all, and i really do think epic war 5 doesnt top the lower ones, because of how the gameplay is, yet the graphic does top all the others. From my point of view, i really expected 5 to be way more epic than the rest, but its not.

I like the art direction and the music, but gameplay wise and story wise, I think the quality of these games has actually been going down since Epic War 3.

i liked the unlocking circle that was in 4 alot better then having no control of what unit you earn after beating a field

I'd like to have the biggest units in the screen be over lapped by the smaller ones so i can see everyone's health bar.

anyone having trouble with colossus or any other late game boss follow this strat: discover the weakness by viewing your matching troop's stat, equip 5 fully upgraded shooters with rune that matches weakness then make the 6th troop a spam troop (goblins or hobbits). the rush the boss using walls and spam troop to stop forward progress while you hit with ranged troops. also, there is a glitch with the wall spell, if placed properly the boss can't destroy it but it will stop it's movement. try casting wall on the far right leg of colossus or the black wolf to stop them dead in their tracks until the enemies spawn troops take it down.

Stage clear exp 100, enemy defeated exp 246, TAKE THAT YOU DUMB IRON FORTRESS! :D, 1 hour and 10 mins ish later (probs due to lag on my comp, but this boss is insane) i managed to defeat it. It was so close to my hero but my method and endurance worked. I used Black dragon with omega seal, paladins, hell raiders, centaurs, wizards and minotaurs to beat it, using rage when i first reach it, then when it starts to advance i started using a meteor strike and level 3 volcanic burst, this method worked for me thankfully because of the general hp of my units and their spawn times. As a result, when it started nearing my hero it's movement was some what halted. The accessories for my units were mainly based on hp or damage reduction for my melee units and platnium swords for my centaurs and an energy/lightning rune for my wizard for it's stun capabilities and attack duration which was helpful for the goblins and damage dealing. Hope that helped.

( TiP ) get the white tiger, it may seem like a drag, but unlike the golem it moves and attacks fast. Once it dies, it will keep coming back fast, so its pretty useful for the extra stages.

I'm a huge fan of the Epic War games, but I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics...hope you update and make them better :/...though the game gets a 8/10

I really like the new graphics! But overall this game is too much like an App on the iPhone - nice for the iPhone but not for something else. Some details are just missing - when I arrange my fighters it’s not easy to see which one is ranged and which one isn’t. :(

You don't really need a titan to beat the colossus. Just have 2-3 fast spawning+fast moving units and 2 ranged units that have decent movespeed to kite the colossus. Once the colossus have enough range for your range units, just move them back a bit and continue chipping down his hp.

I see so many people struggling with the colossus here, let me give you a detailed explanation. The solution is prevent it from moving as much as possible, Hobbits, goblins and any other fast paced spawn units are used for this, then use a titan like the black dragon with the remaining unit slots filled with range units and platnium swords to deal alot of damage. Preferabally i would use the regen or omega seal on the black dragon to keep it alive as long as possible to ensure a quick victory. Now while the colossus is being occupied by your units, rain down hell upon it with the meteor or volcanic blasts :).

i dont know if this is true but my friend told me that u put walls exactly at the colossus's feet and he cant move or break it (but thge units can)i havent tryed it soo.....

You need to make an option to lock your hero in place. Im tired of accidentally losing a 15 min battle because I didn't notice I didn't have mana to cast.

piece of shi---- hero. i say run, dont attack the stupid undead beast when he keeps rushing. you miss every damn time and you get hit by him full force. jesus christ the hero AI never gets better

The iron fortress needs to familiarise itself with "rusting".. it's got too much hp T_T, So far so good however, using "tank units" and a black dragon with the omega seal; a regen on the strongest of my tank units like the minotaur or paladins. Yet dam this has taken me a good 45 mins ish, can we just lower its hp please? xD

one thing i miss from the others. a huge respawn timer on the hero. the only way you could lose is if the enemy crossed your border

After beating it, I realized that the difficulty is so lenient that it is practically an idle game. Idling, with little concern for what units I used, I won the first and second sets of levels in one try, sometimes two. Otherwise, the only thing I do is buff sometimes and kill an impeding group of ranged units with a spell. The previous game had me retreating units, withholding units in preparation of an attack, experimenting with different army and spell combinations, timing my spells and USING my heroes carefully. Although, abusing invincibility to beat most end levels was a little lame, it still required my attention and was a bit tense in using it (and other spells) properly. In this game, it was an epic anticlimax when I beat the last level on my first try by rushing all my units and keeping them buffed constantly.

Is this a bug: omega shield makes the goblin fortress resist go from block to strong... It should upgrade all weak to strong and not touch the block.
