How to slaughter the demon imp : Build walls so your army can go and attack while your long range units can shoot safely.

(Part 2.) Trial 5: Swarm weak units with high population such as hobbits, goblins and vampires. Use ranged spells on the swordswoman where possible. Easy if swarmed units used. Trial 1: Make lots of units like vampires and paladins. Use ranged spells where possible. Trial 4: Make as many titans as possible. Use vampires too, and spam regen like there's no tomorrow. Equip defensive accessories.
On a side note, if the big enemies reach your hero, have the hero run past the enemy, and use the self heal to heal off damage. I hope this helps.

Alright... Since I haven't seen a Guide for the Trials yet, I'll write them in the order I did them and my strategies for them. While I'm not sure it's needed, and I cannot guarantee success with my methods... Here we go: Trial 3: Use a few titans, such as golems and a white tiger, some smaller units such as paladins and vampires and some ranged units such as witches and succubi. I used archers in favour of vampires. Lure the Lords forward one at a time, with meteors once the giant building is destroyed and your units are nearby. Rinse and repeat. Bombard the Lords with meteors or use regen on your titans if necessary. Trial 2: Trial of Endurance, if nothing else. Turn speed up to X3 if you don't normally play on this. Swarm some ranged units and titans, if any. Have all your units except you hero go forward. Go do something else for a while.

It would still be nice to USE our Hero, dies too quickly. Didnt see any way of comparing our units to see which is better unlike the Fourth. Just another small note is when we upgrade our units have a slight change of appearance like a shinier weapon/more armor etc. Listen to our feedback rudy_sudarto! We are trying to help you! Lol

how about with our hero's left over xp, we can buy more health? liked add a new tab, after maxing out all 3 lines of upgrades, a new one appears, allowing is to buy health # for # of xp. i dont know what numbers you think are good, but thats my point of view. And how come with the new updates, my castles dont each make extra units? instead of having 4x for 4 castles, i have 1x for 4 castles (aka lets say each castle makes five, and i have 4 castles, i only get 5 units? wtc?)

I was excited at first, but honestly it's kind of boring. So far, each battle I only have to do one thing: cast heal hero a few times. I agree with Purplekjw: it seems not much thought was put into this. Sad,considering how awesome the very first game was. Why can't it go back to it's roots of shooting arrows across the battle field? I miss that...

I loved all the previous Epic War games, this one wasn't anywhere close to as good. I didn't even bother finishing it, I have no will to play this game.

How I beat the Wandering Swordsman: Centaurion, Succubus, Witch, Goblin, Golem, Earth Dragon. Give the Golem and Earth Dragon as much damage reduction/HPs as possible. Give the Cent, Succubus and Witch as much damage increase as possible. The goblin is just to delay her. Once all units are built, give your Golems and Dragon a head start, then attack with the rest. The object is to delay her and let your ranged fighters do the damage. Build a wall with the Golem if she is about to move forward. She will slice through it fast, but you are just trying to delay her.

Got the hard badge, in general having all titans will net you the challenges, minus the cololssus, which you just need to send goblins and have all ranged. Also, I did almost all levels minus the last three using the Defense spell, and the last 3 just used regen (had to use vampires :(..) Pretty entertaining though, and not the hardest hard badge in the world

For me, the only purpose this game served was to make me want to play the previous games. This just does not seem like an improvement. The upgrades aren't very good, and the menus are awful to navigate. It makes comparing units a chore. Overall, I get the feeling that no thought went into this during the frantic effort to crank out another game in the Epic War series, which deserves its good reputation, but will lose it if it continues down this road.
