I agree with some people. The heroes become far too weak later on in the game to be a real help without taking some big risks...
the initial boost for the heroes early on- especially for the two that start off with the self-healing ability, makes them very useful. And the queens ability to strike from a certain distance, as well as dodge at times helps her survive.
However, their stats lack any real use for them- the queen might have SOME ranged combat use, but it is still risky.
I say we keep the upgrades they originally have, make no changes to it. However, i think it would be better for the heroes to have a second tier of upgrades that becomes avalible AFTER clearing the story mode- upgrades that would make them helpful and valuble to use in the after story maps. the upgrades should be powerful enough not to make them cheap- but make them helpful as they were throughout the story mode.

hmm done all missions all trials + now what ? thought u would be able to start a new game + and collect all the other units your missing + use another hero

it's not that hard all you have to do is send all your units in and leave your commander where he is and make sure they are all protected

this game is clearly unfinished why would you release this? the gameplay is bad, the upgrades for half the units make 0 sense o +50 hp to a unit with 5k hp..... and the hero can solo lvl 1 and then cant take 2 hits near the end of the game. These skill trees are also horrendously made. If you got lazy, don't release another game, your destroying the games good name.

I really liked epic war 2. and epic war 1. 3 was a let down, 4 was an upgrade, and 5 is too different. I like the castles that shoot arrows and being able to kill giant demons ect.

hello kongregate, i will tell you an easy way to kill the collosus. First get all these carachters to a full level (dont need to but it helps). Elder wizard, archer girls, gorillas, centurions, goblins and paladin/ beast rider. Give all the ranged platinum swords. The other 2 dont matter. When you are playing, once you get to the end, you give your ranged people fury (from the goblins) and they will attack the collosus. keep moving the ranged people back so the collosus cant hit them. Eventually, the goblins and paladins will be close enough to the start so when one dies another one will be able to take their place. You keep giving the ranged people fury and don't use any other attack spells because it will barely effect the collosus while taking up too much mana. The collosus will go down very slowly but will eventually die.

Trial 5 - The End Of Hope is much too easy. I didn't use any ranged unit but Goblins, Hobbits, Paladin, Vampire, Dwarf Engineer and Taurus Oxen without accessory! Increased attack power several times and watched my men killing the wandering swordmaster. Try it :-)

DONT ever use the iron fortress its slow, weak to everything except peirce to me its pretty much a meat shield when retreating

it has a stone golem (non epic) and white tiger (epic) but how do we get gurdian angel (on last story level) if there needs to be epic war 6 click +

@openrange just put walls in front of him it will take 2 spins to destroy it , thus your units / mainly archers will get him

inflicted damage overlaps the health bar of enemies. i, for one, like to be able to see a health bar rather than a rapid flurry of red numbers that mean almost nothing to me.

guys is it just me or the developer/ programmer or what ever he is called never even reads or replies to the comments, so there are no relevant updates for the top comments

i h8 it it epic war 1 started out ok 2nd was better 3rd best THEN they started trying to jack it up and the 4th and 5th are worse then the 3rd...
