Eh i dont know you guys problems with all of the units or anything but maybe you wanna all try hard... its not as hard as you think it is although you'll be repeating many challenges, but good luck.

For people struggling with the collosus rock golem spam small units to slow it down and use spells like meteor and ranged units to do the damage, vote up so more can see this.

same complaint as other people. hero units are too weak when it comes to the later stages. they need to have more health and/or more attack. this game is much easier to play than the other epic war series. i would recommend this game for players dont want to spend a lot of time strategizing and just want to go for it. 4/5

At the later stages, I just leave my hero at the beginning and send my units out to defeat the bosses. Seems kind of pointless to have upgraded other than for the spells, which the units learn anyway. As others have said, the extra upgrade points should be used for something or we should be able to have multiple accessory slots. 4/5

For the 5th trial cave, I'd recommend units that have low health, high spawn rate, high population and high damage, because the boss heals a ratio of the damage that they hit. Also, the boss does about 1.7k damage per combo attack, so you do not want the boss to get anywhere near your hero.

Gods, black dragon saved me for all of the trials except 1 and 5. Its insane hp and damage made regen extremely good as a backup for it.

there are a lot of bugs like if you click on a battle go to formation without saying no to the battle and when you're in formation click yes to the battle it will start but you'll still be in formation !

I dunno why but Viegraf is my favorite Named charecter in the epic war series followed closely by Popo the epic dwarf

even now if someone needs to beat colossus here it is: any one who has the wall spell(I recommend golem) all ranged units(magic based he is very weak against magic) then go on building wall at his legs he can never attack it his attack goes ahead of it then it is very easy as he does not moves from his place

Major glitch. I just beat the game. All the levels. But was missing the last "epic" unit and the last five units on page two, and eight accessories on the last page. X the game out. Reloaded it 10 minutes later, and I got the absolute tyrant achievement, and the artlogic's badge without doing anything. FAIL!!!!!!!!
And if somebody could tell I know it has been asked before, but how do you get all the units and accessories?

@AlexTMPhx well id use aa combo of 3 units for small /goblins/ox or the one with the hammer sorry i forgotits name and maybe the amazons or vamp warriors.. you want to keep the collosus in the same place. Then i used with that combo 3 big units who i made sure had on major shield from like a paladin for shield and high defense shield or rings if you have them. Make sure you launch off meteors or flames when you can damage all the small troops! it took while and i know there is a better way but it doesn't matter if ya beat him xD

@KFalzar I know that. Thanks for saying it but i know it makes it faster but for more of the fun you can get out of the game is more of what im thinking like unlocking the special items like the chariot which speeds up your units... well lets have at least 2 or so so you can relax after you beat the game or some VERY extreme levels for items... and yes i know the rings and all without or with but rings + attack = epicness. Also another idea is the idea of upgrading your hero up many times until hes as strong as a enormous unit to make him useful more so. It's the little things added to the game that would make it amazingly interesting. In a nutshell the game could have another mode to branch off in or better perks in game that is all i'm saying. My whole overview is yes! this is the best strategical flash game out there and he/she/the group should experiment to make it even better then any other one out of this series ever made.

All the epic war series games are the same. Seriously Dev - get some imagination. Even the art is stolen from the third game.

Just a little tip for the 8th challenge mission. Walls can stop the inferno from rushing through your army and killing your hero.

Disagree with a few comments here:
-Dugong: Regen isn't pointless. It's powered up my golems, etc during quite a few (all) trial stages to the point their lifespan has extended many times over. Now if you said heal was pointless, then I'd agree (for the most part).
-NessFalcon: Try having golems advance against magic without items. Now give it a magic ring. See a difference? The early items do nothing noticeable, the platinum and up items all do something helpful. Besides, 10% more damage relatively = 10% faster kills = 10% faster games. A 30 minute game would then be 33.33 minutes without items... and that's counting lower tier items.

Ill have to add that having one item added to a unit is not really that helpful after awhile... i mean if you're going to make the game this hard at least let us have 2 accessorys or even three just for the extra power and fun in the game... its really no need to make it this intense! i played it at a friends house and he was palying it on hard... its like trying to play zombies on black ops on even the purple trails it seems.. takes like 30 - 45 minutes for the red ones and im pretty sure since he got there that hes a brilliant strategist...

Aaaaaaand duuuude you should balance out your spells .... Regen is completely useless, how about allowing buff stacking, there's way too many dmg spells that are nice to look at but once you get meteor become redundant, the is fine but maybe you want to give him a once-a-fight selfrezz or sumthing ... just for careless people. - but I like the right-distance-juggling-thingy you got going on.

Sorry but epic war 5 just went a little to far with all the bosses and excessive play also with the exp earning it's just went down imo. I recommend going back to epic war 4 and epic war 2 ways! those two games together with a few bosses from here would be amazing!! on the bright side the magic skills rock and the units arent to bad but! the highlight of a game cannot be! oh my gosh i finally get to play/command these units! wheeee...

lawl .... now that last trial was easy compared to the 4th ... a hint for the 4th: his attack is strike. The Dragons with Omega Seal are your friends.
